How many believes that God has sent His gift of healing? Now, let's see. God bless you. Oh, my, eighty-five percent of the crowd believes. Then, under such as that, I'll assure you to see the glory of Almighty God.
Remember, one thing too. This is not a gift to perform miracles. ...A person in the building here that was there when the Angel of the Lord came down, and said, "You are confined. It'll come to pass...
E-4 CHILDREN.IN.THE.WILDERNESS PHOENIX.AZ 47-1123
And when the Angel of the Lord spoke to me, last time speaking... But the last time He spoke with me, He told me what I have been... told you last week. At Vandalia, Illinois, why, He told me I was confining too much of the work to working miracles. And it would come to pass that people would not believe me unless there was miracles performed. And that is true. It's got that way. People don't feel like they're prayed for...
E-48 CHILDREN.IN.THE.WILDERNESS PHOENIX.AZ 47-1123
Now, He told Balaam to go on down there. Of course, we know on the road, the Angel of the Lord met him. And he could--he was so blind, so money crazy till he couldn't find--even see the--the Angel standing before him. And then the--the mule that he was riding on, turned aside out into the field. The mule (Oh, my.), the mule had more spiritual discernment than the man did when he got his mind off of God.
E-12 EXPERIENCES.1 PHOENIX.AZ 47-1207
Here not long ago, I was facing a very hideous demon that was cursing and spitting on me, trying to, and biting at me, in a straight jacket. And when I went to meet that demon, I knew that one thing, that first, Christ died to free that man from that demon. That's the Word. I know the Angel of the Lord came to me that night and spoke to me, telling me that nothing would stand before the prayer if I could get the people to believe me, and would be sincere when I prayed.
E-12 EXPERIENCES.2 PHOENIX.AZ 47-1214
Well, I said, "Isn't that strange? I was in mother's just as... just as... Strange it's not..." You're not dreaming. Just like you're having a nightmare. It's just as much reality as I know I'm standing here at Phoenix, Arizona, in this auditorium, more so. And I thought, "Well now, that is strange." And I started to turn... It always is to my right. And when I turned towards the right, standing there stood the Angel of the Lord with His--that Man Who comes to me. Who He is?
E-36 EXPERIENCES.2 PHOENIX.AZ 47-1214
And all of a sudden, Something that struck me that I almost was paralyzed. And I--I thought it was... I thought maybe I was sick. And I stopped the car. And I was up top of a little hill. And there's a church back over to my left. I thought, "Maybe it might be the Angel of the Lord. I'm passing a church."
E-37 EXPERIENCES.2 PHOENIX.AZ 47-1214
Me that piece of paper. And she brought it over there, and we checked the names and numbers of tombs off. And just exactly the place. I said, "This is the road. We're on the right road now. And that was the Angel of the Lord that stopped me." I went right on by it and not noticed it. See?
E-44 EXPERIENCES.2 PHOENIX.AZ 47-1214
Now, that's the way the gift is supposed to be working. See? Now, I want you to notice this. It wasn't my sincere prayer that brought this gift. Gifts are not brought by sincere prayers. Gifts are foreordained of God. They're ordained and sent.
Here at the municipal bridge. Sister, no doubt you know where the municipal bridge is, don't you, cross from Jeffersonville to Louisville?
Twenty-two years, when I was a little boy, just a little bitty lad about five years old, or six years old, when the Angel of the Lord appeared in the bush... You've heard me tell that haven't you, when I was packing water?
Well, about two weeks after that, I was playing marbles with my little brother. And I thought I'd got sick, some real funny feeling came on me. And I went and set down by the side of a tree. And I looked down at the river, and there went a bridge, a big, great big bridge going across the river. And I counted sixteen men that fell off of that bridge and drowned. And I went and told mother. And I told her I seen it. And they thought I was crazy or something. They thought I was just at a little nervous hysterical child.
E-49 EXPERIENCES.2 PHOENIX.AZ 47-1214
And on the road down, I was praying. And the Angel of the Lord set in the car with me for just a little piece. He said, "Say this to him. 'THUS SAITH THE LORD, waters are running clear ahead,' that's My Word to give him."
E-55 EXPERIENCES.2 PHOENIX.AZ 47-1214
And I looked over there, and just a whirl like going around in the room. And I knelt down to pray. And when I did, the Angel of the Lord spoke, and said, "Do not go over there. His time has come." All right.
E-68 EXPERIENCES.2 PHOENIX.AZ 47-1214
Now, when the Angel of the Lord speaks like that, there is not nothing can stand before it. It's absolute... Then wha... My faith? Well, I know it's going to happen. There's no need of saying anything more about it; it's got to happen.
E-136 EXPERIENCES.2 PHOENIX.AZ 47-1214
Now, I did that so you wouldn't be questioning me about it coming through the line. So that is true. Now, I know that you noticed a lot of times when I ask to rebuke, I stand still just for a few minutes and repeat these three words that the Angel of the Lord told me to repeat. Then if I feel it come back, then I know it's done.
That's what happened to this girl with us. And that's the reason I never said nothing about it, 'cause I knew she--she was healed. The power had gone from her. Now, of course she don't know what speech is; she don't know what hearing is. She just have to begin like...
E-8 ANGEL.OF.GOD PHOENIX.AZ 48-0304
Friends, the Angel of the Lord told me, "If you can get the people to believe you..." Now, I tell you what you do, when you pass through this line tonight, you go out of here just rejoicing, just as happy as you can be, telling the people that you're healed. And go testify. The disciples were ten days and nights in Jerusalem constantly praising God before the Holy Ghost ever fell.
E-10 ANGEL.OF.GOD PHOENIX.AZ 48-0304
Her eyes, she seemed to go into a trance. I just passed her on, of course. Then I left and was gone, come back again in a few days, and her husband was at the door. And he said, "Brother Branham," he said, "something's happened to my wife. She talks like she's delirious."
And I said, "What seems to be wrong?"
He said, "Well, here's what it is." Said, "When she was praying... When you was praying for her, she seemed like she was in a trance until we got home. And she asked me, who was that other Man that come down there with you when you prayed for her?"
And I said, "There was no other man."
Said, "Oh, yes. A Man with the white robe on with dark hair."
I said, "Say that again, brother." And he said it again. And I said, "That is the Angel of the Lord that appeared." See?
She said, "Why, He was looking down upon Brother Branham when he was praying." And said, "He talked to me." And He said, "Now, you're looking for healing." Said, "Brother Branham's prayer will be answered; you'll be healed." But said, "Doesn't Brother Branham look awful frail?" Said, "But he will be strong after while." So that give me encouragement. See, "He will be strong after while."
E-12 ANGEL.OF.GOD PHOENIX.AZ 48-0304
Now, that's the Angel of God. He's been seen many times in the services. And I know that He's here tonight. I know that He's here. I've felt Him three or four times since I been here.
Now, that someone might know... Now, many people misunderstand. Now, this is in no means, friends, an Angel worship. It is not. See? I do not pray in the name of the Angel, or even know His name. But if you'll check the Scriptures, when God sends His people, it's an Angel that directs them. Moses...
You say, "Well, how about the New Testament?"
Certainly. It was always the Angel of the Lord. That's right. Peter, when he was in prison, the Angel of the Lord came down (Is that right?), delivered him. And oh, my, many times. He's...
How about Paul, when he come over in Macedonia. And when he was on the shipwreck, the Angel of the Lord appeared to him that night and told him He'd given them all into his hands. Certainly. It's always... Paul never worshipped the Angel.
John the Revelator, after the whole Book of Revelation was written, then John said, "I fell at the feet of the Angel (Is that right?) that showed me these things." He said, "Worship God." He was of his fellow men and of the prophets. See?
Notice. God always sends down the supernatural upon the natural. Like upon the brazen serpent, the pool, and so forth. Even Jesus Himself: He never took credit for healing anybody. Is that right? He said, "It's not Me that doeth the works; it's My Father that dwelleth in Me." [Blank spot on tape--Ed.]
E-52 ANGEL.OF.GOD PHOENIX.AZ 48-0304
Now, you--you're... you believe in God, don't you? Now, you have believed in God, you believe in me, that that Angel of God came down and told me that. You've heard the story of it, have you, sister? You ever hear the story of how it come? The Angel of the Lord came to me? Yes.
E-20 MOSES.COMMISSION HOUSTON.TX 50-0110
And we, without a leader, are helpless. And Christ is our leader. And God was Moses' leader, though He sent a--an Angel to lead him. "I send My Angel before thee to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee to the place which I have promised." The Angel was to be his leader.
The Angel performed the miracles. Moses never performed any miracle. The Angel of God in Moses performed the miracles. You see what I mean? The Angel of the Lord was with him. The Angel led them, performed the miracles.
Now, God has always, by all men, through the Scriptures, through all ages, has ordained that Angels should guide the people. There was Moses; there was Daniel, and oh, how many more could we say, all the way down.
E-22 MOSES.COMMISSION HOUSTON.TX 50-0110
How many says that Peter the apostle had the Holy Ghost, that preached the--the inauguration sermon for the Church, the Day of Pentecost. Well, when he was laying in prison up there, and Who was it come in to the... and touched him and brought him outside? The Angel. Is that right?
How many says Saint Paul, the apostle had the Holy Ghost, let's see your hands. When the ship was tossed about for fourteen days, and there's no hopes at all, and he come out there and shook his hands and hollering, and I guess, "Glory to God, be of a good cheer. The Angel of the Lord, Whose servant I am, stood by me last night." Is that right?
How many believes John the Revelator had the Holy Ghost? The whole Book of Revelations was showed to him by an Angel. Is that right?

_ And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee.
And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the LORD. For Manoah knew not that he [was] an angel of the LORD.
And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What [is] thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?
And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it [is] secret?
For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on [it], and fell on their faces to the ground.
