DIFFERENCES

AT.THY.WORD.LORD_ NEW.YORK.NY FRIDAY_ 51-0928

E-5 Now, that's what's the matter with the Pentecostal church tonight (See?), too much differences. As soon as you get saved, you start this way, and a little trial comes along, and you fall off, and you go this way, and this way, and ups-and-downs, and fusses and fights, and carries on until... How could God trust you with those things? To adopt you into the Kingdom of God, into His possession, give you heir to all the spiritual benefits of...

If the church would only held together and quit fussing, and splitting up, and arguing over little baptisms, and things like that, you'd been a lot better off. And one church against the other (See?); that isn't sons. God can't trust you.

Divine gifts are very sacred. And remember, a person could send their soul to hell with one. If you'll notice on the platform on my cases, my patients, I'm very careful of what I say. I weigh every word. I find the condition of that soul before I say anything.

STANDING.IN.THE.GAP_ JEFF.IN V-6 N-7 SUNDAY_ 63-0623M

21 But He'll not judge it by any church, to my opinion, because there's too much differences and too much confusion. But He'll judge it... The Bible says He'll judge the world by Jesus Christ. Now, that's Scriptural. Now... And the Bible said that "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us, the same yesterday, today, and forever." So He is the Word. And this is Christ in letter form. And in the Book of Apocalypse to the Catholics, Revelation to the Protestant... In the 22nd chapter when this Book was finished, Jesus said Himself, "If any man will take one Word from this Book or add one word to It, the same... His part will be taken from the Book of Life." So I... The reason we believe this is... Say just exactly... Nothing... He can do things that He hasn't written here; we know that. But as long as we just stay with what He has wrote, that'll be fine.

FOR.HIM.WILL.I.ACCEPT_ HAMMOND.IN FRIDAY_ 52-0718

E-3 I believe this: that in the great realms of the Church, the only thing that's holding off the coming of our Lord Jesus for His Church, and setting up of His Kingdom, is the differences between the full Gospel people. That's right. As long as one say, "I belong to this; I belong to that. I received this; I did that," and don't recognize the brother as your brother, I think that's one of the hindrances we have now, one of the hindrances of not receiving, or Jesus Christ's coming.

I believe that we're past... Jesus' coming is past due. That's a big word, but I believe I can prove it by the Scripture. It's past due. God, as He said, "As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the coming of the Son of man." God was "Long-suffering, not willing that any should perish, but that all might come to repentance."

Thank you, Brother. Somewhere of a dozen or more testimonies from last night. Well, that isn't too good, just a dozen of seventy-eight that passed over the platform. Seventy-eight different ones that passed over the platform and just a dozen reported. All right. It's easy, and it doesn't matter to me then, we will try tonight in massive healing, and see what our Lord will do. See?

PREPARATION_ OWENSBORO.KY WEDNESDAY_ 53-1111

E-87 They climbed up the hillsides, up yonder to the temple, stayed in the upper room until all of a sudden they got to a place one said, "I don't care if I am a Methodist."

Another one said, "I don't care if I am a Baptist, or Sadducee," till all the differences got out of them. And when they did, they started blessing God. And about that time the preparation come from heaven.

Now, the Catholic church said, "Lick out your tongue, take the holy eucharist, that does it." Holy eucharist, a little wafer... The Protestant church, just as bad; shake hands with the preacher, right hand of fellowship, sprinkle a few little drops of water on top of him, take him in to a...?..."...?...

How far and they're both wrong. But here's what the Bible says the preparation was.

EXPECTATIONS.AND.WHAT.LOVE.IS_ PHOENIX.AZ SUNDAY_ 54-0228A, E-50 But let that happen one time among the heathen, and the whole country will come to God. Every one of them will sweep right into the Kingdom of God right then. They believe; they're humble. And now, that's what we've got to do now. Let's just break down all differences everywhere, and just get ourself... Now, you just can't put it on. It's got to come from the inside.

You remember, the Holy Spirit knows it, whether it's coming from the inside. Let's just get all the differences away, walk right out, and say, "I love the Lord, and I love even my enemies." Don't never... If anyone says anything about you, don't let that bother you at all. Don't mar that wonderful feeling till God... My, just--just go ahead. Love them anyhow. Amen.

REDEMPTION.BY.POWER_ LVL.KY V-25 N-7 MONDAY_ 54-0329

13 Then, we become a son or a daughter of God, an offspring of God, with part of God's Life in us. We could no more perish than God could perish, if He tried. So we have Everlasting Life and going to be raised up in the last day. That wonderful? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] That would make Baptists, Methodists shake hands and shout, wouldn't it? Sure would. That's right.

That's the good thing about the old-time religion. It just makes everybody set together and love one another. Sure does. Takes all the differences away, makes new creatures. It'll make a--a tuxedo coat and a pair of overalls put their arms around one another and say, "Brother, how you getting along?" That's right. Sure will. It'll make a silk dress and a calico put their arms around and say, "Sister, I love you." That's what it does. It sure does, just tears down the difference. "Rich or poor, bond or free, we're all one in Christ Jesus."

REDEMPTION.BY.POWER_ LVL.KY V-25 N-7 MONDAY_ 54-0329

45 And that's what God has did today. He's give every one of you that wants It, the baptism of the Holy Ghost. But you got to go in, possess It; that's all. Fight out the differences, and tear down the walls, and get started in there and get It.

You say, "The pastor said, 'It's not for us today.'" Just walk right on a past it.

Mother said, "I'll run you away from home." Go right on a past it.

Husband said, "I'll leave you." Go right on a past it. That's all. Got to go and possess It. That's all.

Divine healing's for every one of you. Every one of you setting here tonight with cancer, heart trouble, whatever it is God has give the promise. And it's yours, but you have to go and possess it.

Now, you say, "Well, I just don't feel just very good." That has nothing to do with it. The promise is yours. God give it to you. Just go right in and slay Philistines, from one side to the other. And take out all the Hivites and--and Amorites; just kill them out. Go on in; take it. God said, "It is yours. Go get it."

REDEMPTION.BY.POWER_ LVL.KY V-25 N-7 MONDAY_ 54-0329

67 You know there's a lot of things in people that try to fool one another when you're a Christian, or acting like it, anyhow. See? But you just let the Holy Ghost go to boiling everything out, take--takes all the fool's gold out of you too.

Fool's gold, many people go out West and they find some of it, and they think, oh, they struck a gold mine. It shines better than gold does. But it's fool's gold, hasn't got no value to it.

And now, they cook that, and they skim it all off, and just keep cooking it and cooking it, until it's pure gold, boiled down to nothing but one hundred percent gold.

And that's the way God does in His Church: pours the Holy Spirit on It, and cooks down in there till He throws out all the worldliness, and the differences, and the selfishness, and all this, till He just boils it out of every individual that will come to Him. Amen.

HE.SWORE.BY.HIMSELF_ JEFF.IN V-26 N-11 SUNDAY_ 54-1212

10 Now, very much led, of course... Always, my heart still burns for overseas. I just wish somehow, that after the service this morning I were leaving for Africa or India, somewhere. To see that the great need of the peoples in that country, and how they are so loving, and want to receive the Gospel, so bad... You know, they're--they're don't have the differences that we have here, you know, to you know, argue about little different things. They--they--they just want to hear about the Lord Jesus. And that's the kind of people you like, like to--to take them the Message in that simplicity of it, like that, well, it makes them just... They just love it. And no matter what you say, if it's something about the Lord, they want to know about it right quick. And of course, here in America, we all different with one another, and it's what we call, "splitting hairs," (Is that right?), something like that.

FAITH.ONCE.DELIVERED.TO.THE.SAINTS_ CHICAGO.IL SUNDAY_ 55-0501, E-18 And great persecution will tear down all the differences and run us together as one person. We will... No man, no man will ever be able to do it. That's to big a ma--job for a man; that's God Himself will do that. We will be one someday. Amen. Oh, my, I will be so happy for that, won't you? when it's all over?

JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME_ CAMPBELLSVILLE.KY SATURDAY_ 55-0806, E-87 My beloved Christian friends, I am only telling you from the Gospel, that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that He raised from the dead. And it isn't I; it's Him that's healing these people. I don't know you. God knows you. It's your faith. But if you will start out like this for the meeting, what will it be in about two weeks when you begin to iron out the differences of your meeting, when you begin to take out the way the little frazzles and things. Many of you are wondering; many of you are--are stunned. Don't tell me. I know your hearts. I don't; He does. I can feel the pulling of the Spirit. You say, "How do you do that, Brother Branham?" I can't explain. Jesus did it. The apostles did it. And Jesus is doing it tonight, through you. Have faith in God. Don't doubt, but believe with all your heart.

PRIDE_ CAMPBELLSVILLE.KY SUNDAY_ 55-0807A, E-51 The thing it was, was not how she was going to get there, was she going to make an effort to get there? I can see her elbowing her way through the crowd. No matter what's said or who said, she was on her road to meet Jesus. Do you do that? Would you elbow your way through the differences in the world today? Could you elbow your way over the vulgarity, over the picture shows and the dancing and carrying on that you do, calling yourself a Christian, to get to Jesus?

Could you lay down aside all your worldly social entertainment, to come to the Lord Jesus to be entertained by Him? God have mercy. She elbowed right on through. She was going to get there, regardless of how vile she was. Oh, I know it was out of order, oh sure. God help us to get out of order once in a while. The trouble of it is, you got too much order. Get out of order. I hope the church gets out of order long enough to get saved.

JUNCTION.OF.TIME_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 56-0115

E-30 The junction time. No more then three weeks ago, to see that mighty One standing there Who stood since I was a little boy and talked. I'm not a fanatic; you know that. But it's to fulfill the Scriptures. I think this church ought to know truth and the sign where we are at, that you won't be slothful, that you'll be up and doing, that the differences will be settled, and you'll walk like real Godly men and women, your hearts set on Christ. And don't look into these paltry things of the earth, 'cause it is of the devil. All these quarrels, and wars, and strifes, and different, look away from them; we're at the end.

And remember, you may not have another week to do it in. We don't know. Only God knows. We're here at the end.
