WE HAVE DOMINION
OVER SIN
24-1 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -

In Revelation 15:3 it says, "And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the LAMB, saying, Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of Saints." Do you see it? The LAMB, the High Priest holding His blood as an atonement on the mercy seat for our sins is the Lord God Almighty. That is His present office. That is what He is doing now, pleading His blood for our sins. But one day that Lamb will become the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He will come forth in power and glory and take His authority to reign as King. He is the coming King of this earth. Of course, that does not say He is not King now. For He is our King, King of the Saints. Right now it is a spiritual kingdom. It is not of this world system even as we are not of this world. That's the reason we act different from the world. Our citizenship is in heaven. We reflect the Spirit of the world of our rebirth where Jesus is the King. That is why our women do not dress in men's clothing or cut their hair or use all those cosmetics and other things that the world likes so much. That is why our men don't drink and smoke and carry on in sin. Our dominion is the dominion over sin and it is in force through the power that is in the Spirit of Christ That in-dwells us. Every kingdom on earth is going to be torn down, but ours will remain.

"He hath made us!" Oh, there are certain truths we need to emphasize. This is one of them. HE! HE HATH MADE US! Salvation is His doing. Salvation is of the Lord. All of grace. He redeemed us for a purpose. He bought us for a purpose. We are kings, spiritual kings. Oh, we are going to be kings upon the earth with Him when He sits on His throne. But now we are spiritual kings and we reign over a spiritual kingdom. It says in Romans 5:17, "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." And in Colossians 1:13, "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom (reign) of His dear Son." Right now we reign with Christ, having dominion over sin, the world, the flesh, and the devil. Showing forth His praise and glory; showing forth HIMSELF, for it is Christ in us, willing and doing of His good pleasure. Yes, indeed, even now we are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

No man knows the things of God save the Spirit of God and he to whom the Spirit of God reveals them. We need to call on God for revelation more than anything else in the world. We have accepted the Bible, we have accepted the great truths of it, but it still is not real to most people because the revelation by the Spirit is not there. The Word has not been quickened. The Bible says in II Corinthians 5:21 that we have become the righteousness of God by our union with Jesus Christ. Did you get it? It says that WE ARE THE VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD HIMSELF by being IN CHRIST. It says that He (Jesus) became SIN for us. It does not say He became sinful, but became SIN for us that by our union with Him we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. If we accept the fact (and we must) that He literally became SIN for us by His substitution for us, then we must also accept the fact that we by our union with Him have become the VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. To reject one is to reject the other. To accept the one is to accept the other. Now we know the Bible says that. It can't be denied. But the revelation of it is missing. It is not real to the majority of God's children. It is just a good verse in the Bible. But we need to have it made ALIVE to us. That will take revelation.

Now, the centurion, the Gent... The Gentile didn't want that. He
said, "I'm not even worthy that You come under my roof."
He said, "I'm a man; I have authority. I say to this one, 'Go
do it,' and he does it. I say to this one, 'Come here,' and he does
it, 'cause I have supreme rule over this man. And I recognize You as
having supreme rule. I'm a man of authority, so I know what a man of
authority means. You don't have to come; You just speak, death will
depart." There you are. "Only speak the Word, and he will
live." Amen. I kinda like that better, don't you? "Speak
the Word, and he will live, because I recognize You as being the
supreme Ruler of heavens and earth. Every demon power is under Your
control." Amen. "All demons is subject to You. I believe
that You're the virgin born Son of God. Just say the Word." I
like that, don't you?

God, can see your hand. I'm Your servant. They are too. Let it be done, Lord, that they might know that You're God, and I'm telling them truth. I might not be able to polish up a sermon, like a minister ought to, but, Lord, I do know You. And I know that You're...?... And help, Lord. Now, You speak the Word to my...?... You speak the Word in Your own way. In Jesus' Name we commit ourselves to You.

E-8 I don't care what it is. If you say to the mountain, "Be moved." And maybe, if you've got to go over the mountain for a purpose, not to say... Somebody would say, "Oh, I'm a great man of faith. I move that mountain." It'll never move. But if there's something over the mountain that you've got to get over there for to do the will of God, and you can't get over it, under it, around it, and yet something in your heart is telling you to go, you speak the word. Don't you doubt. And maybe when you speak the word, only one little grain of sand will fall. But it's on its road. The next day, a spoonful may drop, the next day, a teacup full. You'll never notice it. But if you'll just hold steady, knowing that it's being done, after while, the whole thing'll fall in. That's the way it is by Divine healing. When you see the working of the Holy Spirit, the Word laid on, and the Holy Spirit anointing that Word, and proving it that He is here in our midst to vindicate Himself and to give to you the promise, then you accept your healing.

E-41 And I like to see a real good pedigreed church, and Christian, who knows Who their Father is, who knows that God is their Father, knows that they're borned of the Holy Ghost. They can trace it right through every generation all the way back to the beginning. Not, "We started when Luther did. We started when Wesley did; we started when somebody else did." We started when Christ poured out His Spirit on the day of Pentecost: pedigreed. Amen. Brother, you speak the Word of God, he will say, "Amen" to it. Let him get the Holy Ghost, he acts just exactly like they did at the beginning because he's pedigreed stock.

prophet said she'd do that. It was only God interpreting His own
Word. See? But it was too unusual.

But each age has its part of the Gospel already predicted. This
Bible is the complete revelation of Jesus Christ. There could be no
more added to It, or anything taken away from It; the person who
does it is cursed. We cannot add nothing to It, take nothing from
It. We must look in here and see what's promised for this age, and
then see it happen. That's God interpreting His own Word. When He
said, "A virgin shall conceive," she did. That's God's
interpretation of it. What He promises, that He does.

Now, lady, if the Lord Jesus will reveal to me something that you
have done, something that you ought not have done, something that
you're here for--like He did the woman, told her what was wrong with
her--maybe tell what's wrong with you if there is... Then you'll
know whether it's the truth or not. You'd be a witness of that.
Would that make you... You'd know that something--something had to
come from somewhere. It couldn't be natural; it'd have to be
supernatural. All right. Would it cause you to believe that this
Word that I've said, it'd be God interpreting His own Word, then
that'd be God vindicating? Would the audience believe the same? Real
reverent then. Now, remember, be real reverent.

Not the thoughts Moses had in his days, not the thoughts of the
disciples, not the thoughts of Luther or Wesley, or the Pentecostal
age, or any of those, we have the Bible here that tells us of what's
going to happen now. See? We see the Pentecostal revival in the
Bible, the Lutheran, and all those church ages. We saw them. But we
also have the Scripture here telling us what is going to be now. And
that's God, God interpreting His own Word for this age that we're
living in. He's His own Interpreter. And yet, we get flusterated.
Don't be flusterated.

Every one of the prophets displayed God's characteristics, because
it picked up the Word for that age and identified It. God
interpreted His Word of that age through the man. Now, no one can
find fault with that. That's the Scripture. Well, if it always has
been that way, won't it have to be the same today, if He's the same
yesterday, today, and forever? God interpreting His own Word. He
said, "This thing will happen in a certain age, and this thing
will happen," and He comes down and does it. Now, He don't need
no interpreting to It, 'cause it does Itself.
He doesn't need anyone to interpret Him. He's Elohim, the Self-existing, All-sufficient. He needs no help from nobody. See? He's God, and He does as He will. And there's one thing that we're sure that He can't do; He can't go against His Word and remain God. He has to keep His Word, because the Word is God. See?

God still has a Urim Thummim, and that's the Word. If--if a prophet
prophesies, or a dreamer dreams a dream, and it's contrary to that
Word, I don't care how real it sounds, forget it. That's God's Urim
Thummim. That's it. And then, it has to answer back to be true.
That's God interpreting His own Word.

God's Word of this age, what did He promise this age? If you look in
the Bible and see what's promised to this age, and you see That
living out, I don't care who says It's right or wrong; It's right
because It's God interpreting His Own Word.
