E-52 Oh, if there ever was a time that Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Pentecostals... They're weighed in the balance, God's balance, and found wanting. They've called the Spirit of the living God an unholy thing. They've done despite to the works of grace. They've thought of big churches and organizations. You, Assemblies of God, you, Church of God... all you... You, oneness, and trinitarians, Baptist, Presbyterian, Catholic, you know you've gone back to Babylon. You had an example of that. And this Branham Tabernacle knows that you've been warned of those things years ago. But now you're weighed in the balances and found wanting. Fussing, fighting, holding grudges, and stewing... You think God could work in a place like that? Never. There you are. Indifferent, unholy, without natural affections, trucebreakers, false accusers, that's the day that we're living.

EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE_ JEFF.IN ROJC 131-183 MONDAY_ 60-1205, 144 But people live today like they was going--this is the only thing there was, "live here on earth, that's all." You don't realize you got a soul that's going to leave here and go somewhere. And you seal your destination right here, the way you live and the way you do: out holding grudges, and mean, and everything, and then run to church. Oh, mercy. Whew. Shame on you.

You bring a reproach up--upon the cause of Christ. Isn't that right? Don't we do it? The bootleggers ain't hurting the church. It isn't that. It isn't the prostitute that's hurting the church. It's the people who profess to be Christians that's hurting the church. We know what the bootlegger is, know what the prostitute is. When our sisters dress like a prostitute, that's different; that's what hurts the church. When the men drinks like the bootlegger, well, then, that's what hurts the church. They're professing to be a Christian and then do that. The people look for you that name... "Let him that even names the Name of Jesus Christ depart from sin." See? Get away from it.

Oh, we're so short, brethren. Me, you, all of us, we're--we're short of what Christ wants us to be. And right here in this day it's time to lay aside every sin that's easily beset us, and run with patience the race that's set before us. Preachers, that's right, brethren...?... That's exactly right.

E-20 Now, what a beautiful picture this gives us. How God must be so brokenhearted because of our conduct, after He has received us as sons and daughters, and to see us the way we act, and carry on, and grudges we hold, and fusses, and little things that doesn't--that should not be, and yet calling ourselves sons and daughters of God.

We must be gallant men. We must be gallant women. We must hold ourselves up, as children of God. We must be an example to the world, as our Lord was. We must lead an outstanding life, as David. When God seen his--his... How... What a gallant man he was, God said, "Thou art a man after my own heart."

E-57 The Bible said, before I finish my story on India, 'cause I want you to get that. The Bible said that the Christ... God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. God and Christ were One. They were One. And not as they were one as your finger, as we've had frictions on that too, when it ought not to have never been. And today, we hold grudges. I don't think the preachers do. It's the congregation. Did you notice the order of II Timothy 4? They shall heap for themselves together teachers, having itching ears, and be turned from the Truth, the Word, to fables, fantastics, and so forth. See? I don't think it's the ministers. I've gathered with hundreds of them. I see them reach across the tables with different denominations, shake one another's hands, and be brothers. See? It's the--it's the sheep that's bleating wrong. See?

WHEN.DIVINE.LOVE.IS.PROJECTED_ LIMA.OH SATURDAY_ 57-0126E, E-66 O God, this is the hour; this is the time, that wherever many hands has went up... They're sincere, Lord. And I as Your servant, I'm interceding for them. I'm asking mercy. God grant it. And may they all be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. And may the love of God that's shed abroad by the Holy Spirit fill each heart. And may they walk out of this building with all of their grudges and their differences all done away with.

We know that sin is black and dark, but the utmost parts of the sins could only be a drop, as if it falls from an ink dropper into a great big tub of bleach. Try to find it again. Oh, it could not be found. When ink is dropped into the bleach, the ink will, ink becomes bleach. And when the unrighteousness of a penitent sinner drops into the Blood of the Righteous, they become the righteousness of God. Jesus, we take Your Word for it. Thy Word is forever true.

When you said, "He that heareth My Word, believeth on Him that sent me, hath Everlasting Life, and shall never come to the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life..." And I pray, as only a servant could do, for each hand that went up. Thou knowing their heart, will give to them the very satisfaction of every need that they have.

E-43 But those who are so indifferent, they see God perform miracles and do things like He done when He was here on earth, the Gospel being preached, they set and chew their chewing gum, fix their makeup on, say, "Yeah, I guess that's right." How can you escape the damnation of the wrath of God?

"Oh, you spoke with tongues," you said. So does Satan. I'm not against speaking in tongues. I know there's a real speaking in tongues, and there's a false one. Don't let the devil deceive you.

You say, "Well, I shouted and danced in the Spirit." I seen witch doctors do the same in Africa and drink blood out of a human skull. Don't think that that's 'cause you got it.

When your life tallies with Christ, that's when you've got it. "By their fruits you shall know them." And the fruits of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, meekness, gentleness, not grudges, and fusses, and fights, and stews, and arguments.

See where you got out acting like the world, living like the world, and the coming of the Lord at hand... God be merciful, children. Satisfy that thirst tonight with Christ. How cold the church has got, how it cooled off. But that compares with Scripture; it's supposed to be that way.

E-67 Now, real quietly let the Christians reach around, shake hands with someone behind you, in front of you, and at the side while we sing it again now. Make friendship, all you Baptists and Methodists, everybody. Shake hands with a Pentecostal. And Pentecostal shake hands with them. We're all one.

I love Him, (That's it.) I... (If there's any grudges among you, settle it right now.)

E-72 It don't attract them anymore. Something has happened to their minds. They just seem like their just mentally upset or spiritually upset. And their character, you can tell them about holiness and how to live, they don't pay no bit more attention to that, as if you didn't even say it. It doesn't... They don't realize that a son and a daughter of God should act like a son and daughter of God. They should realize their position, not fussing, fighting, stewing, carry on, and hold grudges.

20 And just always keep humble. Now, everyone in the church has something to do; but don't never pull it aside for something else. Let it blend in with the rest of the church; It's for God, all things. See, see? Don't everybody want to speak with tongues, everybody interpret.

Try to do something good and just keep being good; hold no malice, no grudges; don't let any bitterness. No matter how bad the person is and how bad they talk about you, don't you never think evil in your heart against them; 'cause right there the Devil will set right in, work up something right there. Just keep it all covered up with godly love, confession, and making right, and do good to those who do evil to you. "If you only do good to those who do good to you, why," Jesus said, "don't the Publicans the same?" See, the sinners, anybody can be good to those that's good to them. But be good to those who are not good to you; do something for those that would not do nothing for you. Speak a good word for the man that would speak evil against you, and that way you keep all the bitterness out of your heart; and you're always in love with everybody then. As long as you stay in love...

AS.THE.EAGLE.STIRS.HER.NEST_ BEAUMONT.TX SUNDAY_ 61-0122, E-69 And that's what's the matter with the church today. It needs a good nest-stirring to get some of the loose feathers out of it, out of its wings. Packing a chip on your shoulders, and grudges, and things like that, you'll die in the flight.

How can God ever have a church with signs, and wonders, and miracles, when you're fussing one another, "I'm this, I'm that," and grudge grudges, and everything. Fan up till... The Holy Ghost come down like a rushing wind, fan all the differences and denominationalism, all them little old loose feathers, "I'm this, and I'm that." You're nothing that you ought to be, what the Scripture said.

Fan out all the loose feathers (Oh, my.), get them all tightened up, because she's going to take them on a real ride pretty soon, a solo. Oh, my. That solo flight, the first one... Then she--she fans all the feathers out, and the nest just boils like that. The loose feathers are flying everywhere. Get all the feathers flying out, so they get good tight ones in there. And she examines them over and see if they're ready.

That's what God's trying to do to His church now. Just can't get her ready, them feathers just keep getting loose. You need some more spiritual vitamins to tighten it up, some eagle vitamins. That's the Word. Tighten up them feathers.

131 Our number one, heart disease, doesn't--the main thing that kills the people today, it's number one; sin disease. And sin is unbelief. Unbelief in what? The Bible. That's right. Yes, it's the number one sin disease, that kills the people today, both spiritually and... And that'll make them kill them physically, of course, 'cause they already can prove that man that holds grudges, and women who fuss and stew, and fight and argue, they die. It'll cause cancer, fungus, everything else will set in, ulcers.

See, you were made to be happy and free. You were made to live like children before your Father, and--and know that He makes every day, everything work right for you each day. Yes, sir.
