HINDERING OUR SERVICES EXPERIENCES.3_ PHOENIX.AZ SUNDAY_ 47-1221 E-5 Now, I want to take just a little of time to explain to you a few things that's very essential. And some of the things that I think that hinders our services many places, is because of the lack of time of staying. I don't get to stay long enough in the place. Maybe two days, three days, or something like that. The meetings should stay thirty days. THEY HINDER THE PEOPLE FAITH.IS.THE.SUBSTANCE_ OAKLAND.CA SATURDAY_ 47-0412 E-33 Now, look, here's where I want to get to you people now on this. The girl thought she believed, just like many of you come down this line tonight. You think you believe, but she did not believe. Now, many of you have female trouble, and maybe it's just something another that--maybe a ulcered stomach. And you--you have to take your... You can have a little time. But that girl, that had to be a emergency. Her life was at stake. Something had to be done. So I said, "Sister, I do not mean to hurt your feelings, but you--you do not believe." Now, it's just like the brother says here, when you have your head up, no matter where you are in the building... I don't say this, friends, you remember, I'm telling you this just for your good. It's not I, but God. I know when you got your head up; I feel it. Whether you're behind me, where you are... Like one last night setting with her head up behind me. I knew it all the time. And so, that's between God and the individual. You see? I can't help that. They--they hinder the people. Many times things are hindered. WORKS OF THE DEVIL TO HINDER EVERYTHING EXPERIENCES.3_ PHOENIX.AZ SUNDAY_ 47-1221 E-11 Now, I notice you've preached of fanaticism. God bless your heart, brother, I'm finding plenty of it (That's right.), of pure fanaticism. And it's only the works of the devil to hinder everything he can against God. That's right. And this come right up, moved right up to me. And I went into the cloud or--or something. I don't know what taken place. But when I was going to it, I found out that I was going to a little white house, setting--a little long three roomed house, or two room house, kinda made in what we call the "shotgun" house, kind of a little straight house. DO NOTHING THAT WOULD HINDER DEITY.OF.JESUS.CHRIST.THE_ JEFF.IN V-20 N-12 SUNDAY_ 49-1225 107 Who are you this morning? Who is Christ Jesus? He's in you as much as you'll let Him be. He's pressing, trying to get into you, to move into you today. And you stand off, and wonder, and look and gaze, and hold back a little while. Don't do that. Move right straight into the Kingdom of God. The hour's here. Hallelujah. Oh, how I love Him. He's coming one of these days. I want to see Him. Don't you? I want to see Him. I believe we will see Him. Don't you? He's here now. His power is moving. What makes the people cry and shout, go on? What's the matter? It's the Holy Ghost moving in them. If they could only realize and--and embrace Him, embrace the Holy Ghost, believing in Him, hug Him to your bosom. Live right; do nothing that would hinder Him. Say, "O Lord Jesus, I want You. I want You to stand by me. I'm going to stand by You, Father." And as you do, He is just pressing to get into you. He wants in there. He's wooing you to Him all the time. HINDERS YOUR CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE BELIEVEST.THOU.THIS?_ MINNEAPOLIS.MN SUNDAY_ 50-0716 E-58 Last night when I was reading that text of Saint Luke the 5th chapter, how that they come to hear His Word, pressed upon Him to hear the Word of God, how glorious... The Church today ought to be pressing everywhere to hear the Word of God, staying with the Word. We're the church natural--or the Church spiritual, just like Israel was the church natural. We were brought out of bondage, human bondage, just like Israel was brought out of Egyptian bondage. You believe that? We come across... We had a sacrifice to come out by. The blood on the lintel, the door, and on the post, just a cross, perfectly. No one was to go under the blood after once coming in until the call come to go out. They crossed Jordan--or crossed the Red Sea, type of the Blood, sanctifying power of God killing all sin nature, sin behind you, the taskmasters, the cigarettes, the whiskey, the road houses, the picture shows. Everything that bothers you back there and hinders your Christian experience died in the Blood of Christ. Yes, sir, brother. DEVIL TRYING TO HINDER YOU MY.COMMISSION_ LA.CA SATURDAY_ 51-0505 E-57 Now, you bring the... your patient. Now, just a moment. Now, I don't know just exactly what. Howdy do, lady. I was kinda getting this up so that the patients coming through, you know, why, they would--they would be able to--to hear... I mean the people out there would hear the patient (You see?) is what I mean. And you have... You come to be prayed for. And you're perhaps wanting to know a little something about yourself, because that I--I--I feel that there it's something that you're desiring to know: your--your conditions. You're nervous, aren't you? Extremely nervous. And haven't you lost quite a bit of weight too? I see a lady standing before me that's much heavier than you. And say, aren't you a minister, or something like that of the Word? Don't you teach, or something there like? Yes, that's what I thought you were. Uh--huh. Do you believe now? You're all tightened up all the time. What it is, is you've put yourself in a strain. You've been through quite a bit of strain anyhow. You started worrying not long ago, and looked like something happened to you that you got to--just all tightened up. Now, that is nothing but the devil trying to hinder you. Now, it's Satan trying to curse you and throw that before you. And as... You mustn't accept it. You must throw it down and--and believe now. Is that the truth? Well, come here just a moment. O Father, I thank Thee for Thy mercies and kindness. And I pray Thee to heal our dear sister just now. Thou demon, leave the woman. Come out from her. In the Name of Jesus Christ, leave her. Now, looky here, sister. You accept it now? All right. Go rejoicing and happy, and get into the work of the Lord. MEDICINE OR ANYTHING HINDERS WILL.I.FIND.FAITH.WHEN.I.RETURN_ LA.CA TUESDAY_ 51-0508 E-47 So dear Christian people if you've got a human heart, let's look at the thing right. Now, taking medicine or anything hinders your faith, keep away from it. See? But I will tell you... Now, I know you said, "Well, I know doctors that laugh at Divine healing." I do too, and I know preachers that laugh at it too. That's right. Many of them laugh at it. Frankly, to be honest with you and my Bible, I found more unbelieving preachers in Divine healing than I have doctors. 'Cause many, many, fine doctors comes to my place to be prayed for. And we set right down in the room, heart to heart, and talk. I never have heard a one yet, but what didn't tell me, "Why, Brother Branham, I believe." And especially a surgeon, said, "I've laid people out," and said, "why they just quit breathing. We'd take them down and after while they start; there they go again, breathe and get well. What did it?" He said. I said, "God." He said, "You're right." Said, "We might move an appendix that's ruptured, but we can't heal the place we cut. God has to do that." A dentist could pull a tooth out, but who's going to heal that socket? Medicine does not build tissue. Medicine only keeps the thing clean. A doctor might set a bone in your arm, but he can't produce the calcium and stuff that heals the arm. God has to do that. That's right. Everybody knows the resurrection was a paradox, that God raised Him up from the dead. The new birth is a paradox (That's right.), can change a man's being. We could preach a sermon right here in a little bit (See?), how a paradox to take a man that's a disbeliever, unbeliever, has nothing to do with it, and all at once change from a renegade to a saint, a prostitute to a sister. It's a paradox. No one can give him a medicine, or a shot, or a dose of medicine, or anything else; It takes the hand of almighty God, and that alone to change a man. Well, it's a paradox, when a man is born again (That's right.), a paradox anew. WHERE YOU'VE BEEN HINDERED SECOND.MIRACLE_ ERIE.PA SUNDAY_ 51-0729E E-64 Good evening, lady. You believe with all your heart? You're trying to, aren't you, sister? Yes. Yes, ma'am. Well, do not fear. You're surprising yourself. There's been a time in your life lady, where you've been hindered. There's been many things that's bothered you. You're a tubercular case, aren't you? You suffer with tubercular. And you've had lots of trouble. You have. And you've--you've tried to have faith. Say, you--you belong to the Holiness people, the Pentecostal people, or something. Isn't that right? I seen you in the services where you're rejoicing. And you're embarrassed sometimes when you're trying to... You cough a whole lot, and many times you pretend that it's something else, instead of trying to admit that it's tubercular. You won't have to do that no more, lady. This is going to be the hour for you to be healed. Come here. You believe me as God's servant? Almighty God, Author of Life, give grace to our sister tonight, seeing her heart breaking down here, You going back in there pulling out things of her life. Satan, I come in the representative Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; you've hid from doctor and all, but you can't hide from God. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I lay my hands upon this woman and ask for her healing. Come out of her in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Go sister, testify and glorify God. SOMETHING THAT MIGHT HINDER FOR.HIM.WILL.I.ACCEPT_ HAMMOND.IN FRIDAY_ 52-0718 E-6 I tell you, friends. What I been moving, trying to do, is change the--the policy of... I'm afraid that people will misunderstand me, and think I'm a, just a, altogether a mystic, and it starts too much of--of a... Well, I'm--I wish to say this: my heart is to Jesus Christ. He's the One that I love with all my heart. And my first duty is to Him. It--isn't that right? My first duty is to Him. And when I see something that might hinder, along on the call somewhere, or bring a reproach somewhere, that makes me feel... First now, my duty is to Him. See? I want to do something that'll help His cause. Well now, I--I find out that we just can't help it, in the... and these realms that we--we go is... Today his name's immortal among men for his decision. Your name shall become immortal when you make your decision for Jesus Christ as the Son of God, the King of Israel. Then when He told the woman at the well about her sin. He talked to her a little while and said, "Go get your husband." That was it; that was her, what was hindering her. And when He talked to the woman at the well, He talked to her a little while, and He said, "Go get your husband." He went right straight to the point. Is that right? And He knew what she had done. She'd been living in adultery. He knowed her cause, and what was hindering her in life. That's right. All right. Now, if she had those husbands, and--and she was living wrong, then Jesus went right straight to the point. Now, if He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, if I should talk to this woman, and it would be His Divine will, He could reveal to me. But it's His will; I can't make it. He could even speak that woman, what's wrong with her, or something about her life, or what she has done, or what's hindering her. Or--or if she's something else, God would tell her about it. Now, what would be hindering everybody from this tabernacle, or this church, tonight, to be healed right now? Shouldn't you be healed just now? Sure you should be healed right now. Believe with all your heart. You're trying to believe, aren't you, lady, with your hands like this, with your handkerchief? You--you have a prayer card? You don't have a prayer card? Oh, you do. Now, are--are we strangers, lady? And how long ago has that been? Oh, eighteen years ago. You were healed of cancer eighteen years ago. Some--someone prayed for you, and you was healed. Yes. You've had an operation, and they--they--I believe I see them take that kidney away. You--they in the operation they moved one kidney, didn't they? Hum? You have a--also something in here. Right along--it's a--causes sickness, and colic like, and you spit up--it's gall bladder trouble. That's... Is that right? Stand over this way just a moment.
