E-40 And The doctor said, "One mouthful of food, solid food would send you to the grave." Said, "Don't you let no solid food hit your stomach."

That's what he said, and the Lord said, "I'm the Lord that healeth thee." Whom am I going to believe? I chewed up that big onion. Oh, how good it tasted. I--I swallowed it down, just as soon as it hit there like bul--a coal of fire went right down hit like that and come back up again. I held my hand over my mouth, swallowed again. Come back again; and I swallowed it again. No, sir, we had a--a bouncing party there for awhile. I swallowed it back; it come back. And I swallowed again, come back, and I'd swallow again. Got me another one, held my mouth, poked that one in, swallowed again. Called the doctor. Doctor said, "It'll kill him sure as the world."

I said, "Hallelujah, I'll die happy."

I went on down through there. Went out in the yard, everybody said, "How are you, Brother Branham?"

I said, "Wonderful."

"Stomach bothering you any more?"

"No, not a bit."

That's right, going on like that. I'd believed it. Yes, sir. Went on like that, and that night when I started to lay down, oh, my, there it was, every bit laying right in the same place. Say, "Want anything for eat, for supper, honey?"

I said, "Open another can of beans and slice some more onion." Yes, sir.

E-68 Brother, God said, "I will restore." Hallelujah. Right down in there come up a bunch of holy-rollers that was just as green and flexible as they could be. Said, "Well, you haven't got no education." I'm as green as a gourd, but I can sure give to the wind. Amen. When God sends the wind, I like frolic with it. Let them say you're crazy, I don't care, just green enough to frolic with the wind. When the Spirit blows, just--just give with It. Say... Lord said, "I'm sending a revival, Holy Ghost power."

"I believe it, Lord, I believe it." Just rejoice

"I'm the Lord that healeth thee."

"I believe it, Lord, I believe it." Amen. Whew. Wished I was twice my size. Maybe I could feel twice as good. Brother, if I did, I don't know how I'd hold it.

E-7 Then you trans-set it out into the yard, and it just keeps growing. But you can praise God just as soon as you get the acorn. Is that right? Because you've got the tree already. Is that right? Now, when God said, "I'm the Lord that healeth thee." Just start praising. You got it; you got it right then.

You say, "Well, I don't see any results, but that don't make any difference, you got it anyhow. See? 'Cause the Word of God is a Seed. Is that right? And we are sowed with the incorruptible Seed of God. See? It can't perish; it's incorruptible. And I... Here's a statement that I usually make in the healing services, "The right mental attitude towards any Divine promise of God will bring it to pass." See? 'Cause it's a seed. It has to.

172 Let's look into it. I see him, "Got one prescription, 'I'm the Lord that healeth thee.'" That settles it. Amen.

Said, "Oh, Moses, my father has been over here, he's just fell and broke his leg. What have you got for him?"

"Let me look and see. 'If thou will obey My voice, do all I command, I'll put none of these diseases upon you, as the Egyptians, for I am the Lord that healeth thee.' Tell him that." He got well. Amen. That's right.

"Oh, he's seriously sick. My baby has got the colic, or the pneumonia, so bad, Dr. Moses, what can I do?"

"Let me see what I got. 'I'm the Lord that healeth thee.'" That settles it. Amen. Away they went (That's right.), going on, rejoicing. That's all he needed, "I'm the Lord that healeth thee."

177 "I'm the Lord that healeth thee." Yes, sir. That's what Moses had, Dr. Moses had in his sphere, in his...?... at his medicine chest, was this: "I'm the Lord that healeth thee." So he healed all the diseases, and kept them perfectly, and brought them right on through the wilderness into the promised land. Oh, my.

They left all those big, boasting physicians, to be with this Great Physician. They'd left that bunch of people that was cold, formal, and indifferent, saying, "There was no such a thing as miracles." And right here, a Pillar of Fire was hanging over them. People were being healed. Everything was... Anything they had need of, was just furnished right to them, and yet they were complaining when they got out of the water. But then in the sovereign grace of God, in all of that...

194 Like Moses. I'd like to look in his medicine kit, wouldn't you? Had two million people out there. Would you like to see in Moses' medicine kit, what he had? All them old men, and hundreds of little babies borned every night, and crippled people, and sick people. And when he come out in forty years, there wasn't even one--one feeble one among them. Wouldn't some of you doctors, setting here tonight, like to see in his medicine kit?

Let's look in it and see what it is. Now, look back. We'll find out. "I'm the Lord that healeth thee." That's it. "Amen." That's what it was. "I am the Lord that healeth thee." Say there's going to be a baby born. "I'm the Lord that healeth thee." He's got pneumonia. "I'm the Lord that healeth thee." That's the only prescription he could give. That's the only one he needed. That's the only one he had. That's what God supplied for him.
