LOVE THE UNLOVABLE

BEYOND THE CURTAIN OF TIME  Jeff,. IN (61-305) E-25
[Whatever you do, lay aside everything else until you get perfect love. Get to where you can love everybody, even every enemy. No matter if the plane is rocking, the lightning is flashing, or the guns of the enemy are upon you, these things do not matter; get perfect love.

INFLUENCE              New York, NY         (63-1114)
109    Reverence, we ought to honor one another, respect one another as brother, sister. And love one another with undying love. You say, "Well, I just can't." Well, just stay here a little longer, and then you will like people too. You'll love those who doesn't love you. That's really a good sign of Christianity: when you can, from your heart, love those who does not love you. Love the unlovable.
Jesus said, "If you just do favors for those that do favors for you, well, the publicans do the same thing." But, see, you must be kind to those who are unkind to you; Do good for those that would do evil to you. Always remember that. Keep that before you, that God's watching you. Remember, God was good to you when you were evil to Him. "While you were yet sinners, Christ died for you."

LAW HAVING A SHADOW         Chicago, IL        (56-0621)
E-48    I always do what I want to. God lets me do what I want to, and I'm so glad of it. If I did what the devil wanted me to do, it's hard to tell what I would, but I--if I do what I wanted to do like I did before I was saved... But now, there's a new Spirit in there. And it's not the spirit of a lamb, neither the spirit of William Branham; It's the Spirit of Jesus Christ that makes me love the unlovable and makes me do things that I thought I never would do. It's Him.

UNCERTAIN SOUND             Chicago, IL              (61-0429E)
E-11    They go down the road at night, and the man will dim his lights, and the next man won't even dim his lights, just go on, pay no attention to it. Let him go, and blind him as necessary. That's Pentecostal cursing. You see? "Let him alone, he ought..." We shouldn't do that, no matter what the other fellow does. Let's--let's show what we're made out of. If... Let's get something down in here to show love and respects. And respect the next man and--and love him, whether he's right or wrong.
If you can just love those who love you, why, the sinners do the same thing. But we're different. When Christ has come into our heart, we love those who do not love us. Love the unlovable. And we were unlovable one time too, you know. And Christ loved us until we came to Him.
And then if we be of Christ and Christ is in us, we have that same Spirit of fellowship, and cooperation, and helping to try to move the great load, and make life a little easier for our fellow man.

THINKING MAN'S FILTER         Jeff.   IN          (65-0822E)
197    How do you like a thinking man's Filter? When you go on the street to rub arms with the world tomorrow, brother, sister, have you got the thinking man's Filter? When that man calls you a holy-roller, do you use a thinking man's Filter? When that somebody says something evil against you, do you have a thinking man's Filter? See? Do good for evil. Pray for those that despitefully use you and those who persecute you; then you're breathing through the thinking man's Filter.
For if you love those just who love you, as we shook one another's hand that's dearly beloved in the Lord, that's good; but can you also love the unlovable; that's the thinking man's Filter; that's the Spirit of Christ in you, loving those who don't love you, then you have the reward of God. But now, if you do it as a duty, you still haven't got the thinking man... You're only up in the second cycle. But if from your heart you really love him, then you're breathing through the thinking man's Filter, and It satisfies a holy man's taste, that you know from your heart you forgive everybody everything, no matter what taken place. Isn't He wonderful?
