E-35 Now, remember, there's going to be millions of Americans meet their doom...?... What would hinder tonight for this whole nation to be destroyed within five minutes? What did science say the other night, this nation--nationwide broadcast on that? We're five years behind Russia. They got a sputnik, and they can put a man in it, dozens of them, send them up there in sky, and move right over this United States and say, "Surrender, or go to powder in a few minutes." 'Course, we would surrender to save our life.
What would happen? Russian soldiers pouring in by the millions, running into the streets, and grabbing the women, ravishing young girls, sweethearts, whatever it was. Don't make any difference to them. Sure. They're communists, cold-hearted. What would happen? Go right into a nice home, kick you out of it. They'll use it theirself. It's Russia's then, and we're a satellite.
Let me tell you: the Church won't see that. She's going to be gone when that comes. That's THUS SAITH THE LORD...?... It'll be gone by that time. Jesus is coming, and that's why these signs... what's...

E-44 By this time tomorrow night (hear me), there's not a thing, not one thing, that would keep shipload after shipload, plane load after plane load of Russian soldiers right out here, grabbing these women, and ravishing them in the street, and doing what they want to. Come in, and if they like your house, kick you out of it, and that's it. What are you going to do? Ungodly, barbarous men who doesn't know nothing about God and cares that much less... You say, "God does that?" He certainly does, according to His Bible. He has a punishing whip when His people won't obey. There's not a thing.
What would our Pentagon do, if Russia did such a thing, and say, "Now, surrender, or go to ashes." We'd have to surrender, only sensible thing to do would be surrender. They're up there: we can't bring them down. They've got their guns on us. Just about three or four of them bombs, and that settles the whole thing. Oh, she's all shook up, brother, sister. The nations that are such a tremendous nervous condition tonight, till they don't know what to do. A great writer said the other day, there's one little thread between the smartest of us and total insanity.

25 Mrs. Simpson, I don't think she's with us today; or... I see Brother Fred setting here, but I don't know where Mrs. Simpson is. She went and got a prophecy that I made about 1935 or something like that, and said: "The time would come (It's written in a book somewhere.) that the sea would weep it's way into the desert." Look what'll take place. If that thousands of square miles falls down into the lava of the earth and slides in, there'll be millions die at one time. And that'll cause such a tidal wave... Remember, plumb up into the Salton Sea is a hundred or two hundred feet lower than the sea level. That water will probably come almost to Tucson with that tidal wave coming across there. And the sea shall weep its way into the desert.
Nations are breaking;
Israel's awakening,
The signs that our prophets foretold;
The Gentile days are numbered,
With horrors encumbered
Return, Oh dispersed, to your own.
We're in the end time. Now, the Lord bless you richly. I get started on that and forget about time. We're going to fade quick--pretty quickly into eternity anyhow.

ATTITUDE.AND.WHO.IS.GOD?_ CLEVELAND.OH TUESDAY_ 50-0815, E-8 Grant, Lord, that something will be said tonight, or done, that will cause the wayward to turn to Christ. For we believe, and feel pressed in the Spirit, that great judgments are upon these lands [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.] last days. Plagues, disease germs already bred up to be scattered throughout the nations. No doctor know even how to take a hold of it. O God, we'll have to believe in Divine healing then. When nations are breeding germs together, to burst them in bombs, and millions die an hours over it.
But oh, we're so thankful that when the destroying Angel went forth, You said, "Touch not none that has the Seal of the Father upon their forehead. They are Mine." Oh, we're so glad tonight, to be under the Blood, safely protected; as Israel in the days of old, putting the blood upon the lintel of the door, and upon the door post, sign of the cross. When the death angel was sweeping the land, the dark wings bowed down, but when he seen the blood, It rose again, and "I will pass over you."

GOD.KEEPS.HIS.WORD_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 57-0407M, E-56 And brother, sister, "I know the trials are hard. I'm getting old, and I've preached. I've done everything that I know to do. I've got to a place to where I see I can't do no more. I've just laid the whole thing in the lap of the Lord Jesus, and I'm riding on it. I'm riding on God's promise. I, the Lord have planted it; I have watered it day and night, lest some should pluck it from my hand."
God's Church will endure forever. The Word of God will stand, and exactly right, wherever. And regardless, if Kingdoms come, or atomic bombs fall, or America backslides, whatever takes place. This is His Word; He keeps It. And I'm riding on it. I believe It with all my heart. Let us pray.

E-5 For instance, tomorrow it's packing up time. We got to leave. Maybe tonight. Got to leave this world, go somewhere else. And you know that might be just about so too.
I heard one of my associates say today, that not only in this city, but all the cities around over America; one of my associates said that "He seen a car open up and just a teen-age girl started to get out and the beer and whiskey cans and things fell out of the car. The kid just left them lay there and went on in to get something and come back." He said, "If God doesn't soon send judgment upon America, He will have to resurrect Sodom and Gomorrah and apologize to them (That's right.), resurrect Sodom and Gomorrah and apologize for sinking them (That's right.) if He don't soon send judgment."
We're in for it, friends, that's all. Sure. But the Church is in for it too: a rapture. Amen. That's the wonderful part, the rapture, coming for the Church. Be a sad day for the unbeliever then. But it'll be a most marvelous time that we've ever seen or thought for those who are ready at that time when Jesus comes.

HAVE.FAITH.IN.GOD_ PITTSFIELD.MA SATURDAY_ 58-0510, E-45, I pray that You'll manifest Yourself now in Your great power of the resurrection, that when that great bomb does fly this a way, that sputnik with thousands of Germans--or Russian soldiers with their atomic bombs hanging here, "Surrender or go to dust." What could we do? O God, the church will be gone then.

E-53 But we've let it come to this place with our sin and modern living. And without prayer in the church, cooling off and going away, we've let it get to this place. They thought if they send about... They got a ton and a half, or two ton, bomb up there now, or satellite. We couldn't touch them with no missile. There ain't a thing we could do about it. They could get a few of those hydrogen bombs, move right over the United States and say, "Surrender or go to ashes." They can do it in the next fifteen minutes.
What would we do? Why, the only sensible thing there is to do is surrender. The Pentagon would surrender; the nation would surrender. Then what would happen? Right in our drunken stew, like another Pearl Harbor, great shiploads of ungodly men, Russian soldiers, planes full of them, come right into our homes, and grab the women, ravish them, bust the heads of their babies in the street, take over home and kick you out. What you going to do about it?
All because we have failed to see this handwriting on the wall, and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ... Listen, brother, that could happen by morning. And if it's that close, how many here that's read newspapers and understands that that could happen by morning and we couldn't help it, raise up your hand. Sure?

E-30 If we're sensible, what would we do? What would the--the Pentagon, what would the--the--the nation do? It would surrender. They'd have to. Then what would happen? Wave after wave of Russian soldiers would climb into our country, here, ravishing our women, taking your homes, and kicking you out in the street, and shoot you, and kill your children before you, and take over the nation. Then we'd know what sin... How we've been... What it meant to laugh in the face of a religious service, and call them a bunch of holy-rollers, or... Remember, it's coming.
There's no national security. We--we're--we're at--we're at--we're Belshazzar's feast, again. They thought because they were inside those big walls, the best of--of the scientists, the best chariots... They could run three or four chariots abreast around the wall of Babylon and--and without moving a--losing a horse or a chariot. And the great big gates, that was probably half a--a forty-fifty feet wide, like that. There was no nation could get to them, or anything else, so they just lived in sin, any way they wanted to. But God can look over the top of the wall.
