"This story started 16 years ago and it just finished. My oldest son, when he was a teenager, got with the wrong crowd and was breaking into different businesses, and was in and out of jail. Finally he was put in jail for the third time.

My wife and I prayed and felt led to leave him in there. It was hard to walk away from him crying!

That Sunday, we went to church in Alabama. We lived in South Carolina. As the brother preached, he brought out that we should leave our children in jail, if they done wrong, (not knowing what we had done).

After church, I asked this brother if he could leave his son in jail, like he had said?

He said, 'I don't know brother. It would be hard!'

I said, 'I had to do that three days ago, and it was hard. And you had no way of knowing that we had done it! But you brought that out in the service, and it sure encouraged us!'

(See, that was 16 years ago). The two years ago, this same son that done this crime, told a younger son, that we had saved his life by leaving him in jail.

The younger son, asked, 'What do you mean?'

'The gang I was running with, broke into a drug store and got caught, and all of them are doing 15 to 20 years in prison! So I wouldn't have a life now, no family, no five children, no good business!' he said.

So when the younger son told us, it finished the testimony and brought it up to date!" (From Bro. Dolph Winters, Louisana, U.S.A.)

From Uganda,

"Last month, on the seventh of January, my wife's delivery time came in the late hours of the night. The membrane had burst. This being on the fifth living baby, by experience we know the time of delievery was right then- but alas! She bled so much, but no sign of the baby being fixed in the birth canal.

After prayer, the bleeding completely stopped, and on the advise of a village nurse, who checked her, I rushed her to the hospital, with her sitting on the motorcycle through the rough roads of the jungle. The hospital was 32 kilometers away! She never bled again.

At the hospital, I was told that she'd be operated upon. I signed, then they informed me that the baby was already dead, and that I only pray for the life of my wife, by both the midwives and the doctor. I told them that I had a vision a day before that I had seen my wife with a smiling baby boy- and for that matter, I am positive for it's being alive yet. They left calling me crazy!

In the operation room- I heard the baby cry very loud and clear, then a nurse rushed to open the door to me, "So you are a preacher of which denomination?"

I replied, "The Word."

Then she said, "Go and serve your God twice as much. I believe He has just put into that baby it's breath of life once again, other wise it was dead."

I shouted, "Hallelujah!"

In short, both my wife and baby are doing well. They were discharged on the 15th. of January, 2000 from the hospital. May God be praised! Amen!" (From Bro. Mairah M. Abraham, Uganda, East Africa).

"Don't fear, John. Don't fear, little flock. All that I am, you are heir to. All my power is yours. My omnipotence is yours as I stand in your midst. I have not come to bring fear and failure, but love and courage and ability. All power is given unto Me and it is yours to use. You speak the Word and I will perform it. That is My covenant and it can never fail."

Now another example of the Lord confirming the Word:

"The other day, I drove by The Smith House, where some brothers from the Cumming Church were doing stone work. Every couple of days I would drive by and spend five minutes talking to them, but this day they said that they would be finished the next day, if they had one more full day of sunshine.

I said, "Just pray that God will give you the sunshine that you need tomorrow."

They looked at me shocked, and one said, "You pray for us."

I said, "O.K. When do you need the sunshine?"

Then Billy said, "All day long until three P M, but they predicted rain tomorrow!"

I said, "The Lord will give you a sunny day tomorrow." I said that like I knew it was going to happen. Then I left to go home.

The next day, I came by at one P M, and I saw four smiling faces, because the Lord had sent the sunshine, but they needed two more hours. So I prayed, and the Lord kept the sun shining for two more hours, comfirming his Word that I spoke.

I had said, "The Lord will give you a sunny day tomorrow."

I want you to know that it wasn't me that answered the prayer, it was God. Remember, it wasn't me that confirmed the Word it was the Lord. I can do nothing, but with God, all things are possible.

The Prophet said, "You speak the Word and I will perform it. That is my covenent and it can never fail." (CA-pg.64)

God confirmed the Word, by bringing what I said to pass." (From Bro. Paul Smarse, Georgia, USA).

15-3 THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY JEFF.IN V-2 N-5 60-0925

Jesus never lived for Himself. His Life was spent for others. That's perfectly Eternal Life. When you say you go to church and you do good things, that's fine. But when you live your life to yourself, you haven't Eternal Life. Eternal life is living for others.

It proved it when He come in the Lamb of God. He lived and had Eternal Life, because He did not live for Himself. He lived for others. And you receive Eternal Life by receiving that day, and you don't live for yourself no more. You live for others.
