NO ONE CAN TAKE YOUR PLACE
And don't try to impersonate the next fellow; you do what God
tells you to do and stay with it, because there's no one in heaven, or
in earth, can take your place. God made you for a purpose. Stay
The church is always trying to take somebody else's corner. But
don't do that. You can never raise corn in Ephraim's corner, if you're
Manasseh. You've got to take your place in Christ, positionally take
You're born for a purpose. And
nobody can take your place. You might have impersonators and
everything else, but they'll never take your place. That's right.

He seen something in me. He seen
something in you. He had a reason to save you. Look at the people that's
unsaved today. Look at the millions He could've took beside you, but He
took you. Amen. No one can take your place. Amen. You're in God's
economy. No one can do it. That's His love to you.
JEFF.IN V-6 N-11
And, remember, as much as we
ministers would like to take Billy Graham's place, we cannot do it;
neither can Billy Graham take our place. See? We, each one has
something to do. A common little fellow here that may be a janitor,
the little woman that may be a housewife, the greatest minister on the
face of the earth today could not take your place. You, God had a
purpose in making you what you are, and you just serve God in that way
that He made you. See? And I think, if we'd just do that, the wheels
would roll a lot easier.

Joseph, another believer. He
couldn't help being what he was. He was a prophet; God made him a
prophet. He didn't want to be different from his brothers, but he was
different. God made him what he is. Nobody else could take his place,
can take your place. No matter how little... You say, "I'm just
a housewife." Nobody can take your place. God in His great economy
has so set your--the Body of Christ in order, till there's no one can
take your place.
I would like to take Billy Graham's place (any of us ministers), but we
can't do it. But just remember, Billy can't take our place. See? We
all have a place. Some of us are evangelists, some prophets, some
teachers, some pastors; whatever we are--some housewives, some
mechanics, some farmers, whatever it is, God has set you in your place.
JEFF.IN V-3 N-6
God made you, and nobody else can
take your place; nobody can fill that place. You must be that
There's no one can take your
place, your peculiarity. How often I have wondered how I would like
to take Oral Roberts' place, how I would like to take Billy Graham's
place, somebody like that, or like Billy Graham, go speak to a audience
of people, call sinners to the altar, forget it, go home, not have to
stand there and wrestle against... I cannot be Billy Graham, but neither
can Billy Graham be me. We are both... I cannot be Oral Roberts; Oral
Roberts cannot be me.
each one set in God's economy just for its place. One fasts all the time
and communes with God, while another casts out devils because this one's
fasting. But it's the whole body of Christ working together, the unity.
When they say, "Oh, well, you
can do a little of this, and a little of that," God wants you to
separate yourself from everything that's called sin, completely set
aside for Him and for He only. He has a purpose in your life each
individual, that no one else on the face of the earth can take your
place. God's got something for you. You're made like that. You was
did that way for a purpose. God's sovereign in His Word.
makes man different. He gives us each one a different place. And a palm
tree can never be a hickory; a hickory tree can never be a palm. Nobody
can take your place, and you shouldn't try to take anybody else's place,
because you are an individual to God. And God has a purpose for you. He
made you thus.
say, "Why did He do it?" He's sovereign. He's got a reason for
it being that way. But we find out that we're all guarded by the Word.
God leads each individual in
the--the way He wants you to do. You are a--an individual yourself. You
are a part of God. Nobody can take your place.
PHOENIX.AZ V-19 N-4
Just look at the Billy Graham's is
in the land today. But, you know, Billy Graham could never take your
place. I--I couldn't take Billy's place; he couldn't take mine. I
can't take yours, and you can't take mine. You're an individual in
God. God made you the way you are for some purpose. If we would just
find our place, and then abide there. If we try to do something
different, then (See?) we're--we're in somebody else's territory, which
we just gaum up the picture of God.
take like Billy Graham in the denominational world today, as he's, if
we'd call it maybe to the football player; he's got the ball.
if you try to take the ball away from your own man, you're just messing
up your team. Guard your man. See? Keep guarding him, keep the rest of
them so he can make the run. And we'll have the touchdown after while,
and Jesus will come, and then it'll all be over.
NO ONE COULD TAKE HIS PLACE
And I wish I was a speaker as
Brother Vayle, and many of you people; but God never called me for that.
I was called for another type of ministry. And we are... I wouldn't try
to take Brother Vayle's place or your place. It'd be just as hard for me
to take his place, probably, as for him to take my place. So we just
abide in our calling and do what we can for the great Kingdom of God.

Moses, foreordained for the purpose,
was called to the job. No one else could do it. When God has--has
called a person for a job to do, there's no one can take his place.
Now, no one could take Moses' place.
No matter how much you run, and how much you try to get away from it,
yet, God knows what He's doing. He knowed just what He had to take and
make out of Moses. These things had to happen. Now, watch. No one
could take his place.
Moses, no one else could take his
place. No one else could do the job. He was ordained to do it.
And brother, sister, if you've got Eternal Life you were ordained to do
a certain thing, maybe a good housewife, maybe something else. But
nobody can take your place. God has made you a place. Don't try to take
somebody else's place. That's carnal impersonations (See?), shows
there's something wrong with you. Be what you are, just exactly. Don't
be nothing else.
Now, God was attracting the
attention of His runaway prophet. He could've got another one. But He
ordained Moses for the job, and nobody else'll take his place. In
the journey some other fellows tried to do it, you know. Dathan raised
up and wanted to make an organization out of it.
Oh, if we could only learn that, that
what part of the Word we are, we must take our place, no matter
what it is.
