GOD SENDS PLAGUES

  51-243    Now, look back in the Old Testament. When you see the plagues falling, they were in Egypt, wasn't they? And God was bringing His people out to the promised land. Is that right? And Israel never received one plague. Just as the plagues... Before it went, they went into Goshen. Is that right? And the sun never did dim out; no mosquitoes come; no frogs was there; no lice was there; no storms was there; no lightning was there; no killing of the cattle was there; and everything they had was preserved in Goshen. Is that right? It's a type of the church going just before the tribulation period. Jesus said, "When these things begin to come to pass, lift up your head, your redemption is nigh." See?
I believe that the moon and sun and stars... And they said that... I'll go ahead and read It, said, "And man run and hid themselves in the--and fell upon their--sought to kill theirselves, and couldn't do it, and everything." I believe that takes place just before the tribulation.
Now, watch, the tribulation comes. When the tribulation strikes, the church goes up. Now, remember, just an ordinary church without the Holy Ghost goes through the tribulation period. It's only the elect that goes through.
Oh, I could rub something hard here, just for a minute. Would you give me three more minutes? What is the--the raptured people called, the remnant? Is that right? All right... I--I mean it's--it's the Bride. Now, the remnant was left.

For we believe, and feel pressed in the Spirit, that great judgments are upon these lands [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.] last days. Plagues, disease germs already bred up to be scattered throughout the nations. No doctor know even how to take a hold of it. O God, we'll have to believe in Divine healing then. When nations are breeding germs together, to burst them in bombs, and millions die an hours over it.
But oh, we're so thankful that when the destroying Angel went forth, You said, "Touch not none that has the Seal of the Father upon their forehead. They are Mine." Oh, we're so glad tonight, to be under the Blood, safely protected; as Israel in the days of old, putting the blood upon the lintel of the door, and upon the door post, sign of the cross. When the death angel was sweeping the land, the dark wings bowed down, but when he seen the blood, It rose again, and "I will pass over you."

  70-69    I know they're blind and led away, and deceiving and everything, but they was deceived by God that you and I might have sight. That's right. But I'll say this in the spirit of prophecy, by the Bible, that the hour of the Jew to return home is at hand. Yes, sir. He hardened Hitler's heart, drove them out of Germany; hardened Mussolini's heart, drove them out of Russia. He's driving them from everywhere like He did in the days when He brought them out. And then when they got out into the wilderness there and was ready to cross over, what taken place? God visit the land with great plagues and things, which He will repeat again with His two servants, the two olive trees of Ezekiel and also of Revelation 11. He will repeat those signs and wonders.

  75-104    Christ comes three times. The first time He came to redeem His church. Is that right? The second time He comes to receive His church. The third time He comes with His church. See? He come to redeem her; He comes to rapture her and be caught away, in the time of the plagues and so forth; returns back for the millennium, lives through the millennium.
And then the great King and Queen comes down for the judgment. The white throne judgment's set; the Books were opened. And there stands the redeemed, Holy Ghost borned Church of the living God, standing there in her beauty to judge. "The Books were opened; judgment was set, and every man was judged thus." That was the sinner. "And another Book was opened," not for the Holy Ghost Bride; she'll never take it, 'cause she's in the rapture.
If you're filled with the Holy Ghost this morning, and God's power is moving in every fiber of your body, what good would it do for you to stand in the judgment? You're already judged, and been received, and filled, and already--already translated into heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Not you will be, you are now, right now translated.

 

SEVEN.CHURCH.AGES_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-2  WEDNESDAY_  54-0512
  32    Now, before we speak to Him, or speak of His writing, let us bow our heads and speak to Him just a moment in a word of prayer.
Our kind heavenly Father, as we solemnly bow our heads to the dust, whence we were taken and shall return someday if Thou does tarry, we bow in humility to ask that You will be near us tonight, to bless us. I can lay back the pages of this Bible, but there's no man that's able to open the Book or to loose the seals thereof. And it's written in Here, "He that takes out of This, shall be taken out of, his part, of the Book of Life and who adds to It, the plagues of God will be poured out upon him."
Father, realizing as mortal men and women setting here tonight, knowing that we're an eternity bound people, God, may the Holy Spirit come, the Writer of this Bible, and open up these pages to us. And may Thy humble, unprofitable servant preach as a dying man to dying men, as if this would be the last service I'd ever have this side of eternity, the last night we'd ever gather together. And may every one of the laity act tonight as if this was their last sermon they'd ever hear. God, take away all folly. Make us sincere, knowing that we must answer at the judgment of God someday. And our attitude towards Him and His Word now, will 'termine our eternal destination.
So Father, with trembling hearts, we come to Thee, and ask: Let the Lord Jesus in the form of the Holy Spirit, take the Word of God tonight, and give It to every heart, as we have need. For we ask it in His Name. Amen.

  162    Revelations the 9th chapter now. Let's read real close here for a few moments, if God willing, and see what He said in His Word. Now... [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.]... of--of Revelations, and the 4th verse. Listen to this.
And it was commanded them... (when they seen the plagues being poured)... that they should not hurt the grass or the trees... neither any green thing, neither any tree; but... those men which have not the seal of God in their forehead.
When the plagues was coming, only thing was protected was those who were sealed away in the Kingdom of God. This is the investigating judgment, when men... And--and if God will help me, in a few minutes we'll prove it by the Word of the Lord, that this is the time of the sealing of the plagues. And those who reject It, there is nothing left but eternal punishment.
