I'll tell you one thing: I'm having a lot more good time enjoying myself and having a good health, and prosperity, and everything with this kind of a mind then I had when I had the kind of mind the world's got. Amen.

I've been through depression. I've been through prosperity. I've seen it, altogether. But I wouldn't turn loose the hand of Jesus Christ for all the money and the wealth that you could pile on the face of this earth, and everything else. He's my Friend when I'm broke. He's my Friend when I got plenty. I love Him when I'm hungry. I love Him when I'm filled. I love Him when I'm in sorrow. I love Him when I'm happy. I love Him because I love Him, because He first loved me. Amen. Hallelujah.

He seen his life as it begin to move. And the next thing you know, they found that he was throwed into a hole; deceived by his brothers, supposing to been killed and throwed into a hole, and was taken up again. Joseph foresaw that. He saw hisself in the prison. He saw himself in the dungeon. He saw God was with him, whatever he did. No... He was the prince of prosperity. The world prospered. Everywhere Joseph was there was prosperity, for he was the prince of prosperity.

And him foreshadowing Christ, wherever Christ is, there's prosperity. And when Christ returns to the earth, all the curse of the earth will be taken away.

And tonight as the antetype of Joseph, the Prince of prosperity, the Lord Jesus rose from the dead and is alive tonight here among us as a Divine evidence that someday we're going out, out of this world of trouble and sin, and where Satan and all His powers is at; and we will be free from Him forever.

But there come a time that the king died. Prosperity always ruins people. That's a hard thing to say. But prosperity takes a man away from God. God spoke one place in the Bible something on this line. And He said, "When I blessed you and gave you much, when you were poor and you didn't have nothing, I come to you and you heard Me, and you served Me, but when I blessed you and gave you plenty then you turned your head from Me."

But you see, the--the king had said this is all right, because his wife thought it was all right. And they'd caused a moral decay. And then, they thought because they were prosperous, no wars and so forth, that that was the sign that God was with them. Prosperity is not always the sign that God is with you. Many times that's deceiving. The rain falls on the just and the unjust. But it's by their fruits they are known.

And Father God, it was said one time, that Your children was coming from bondage, going into the promised land of good health, prosperity. And the Red Sea got in their way. God looked down through the Pillar of Fire and frowned upon that Red Sea, because it was holding His people from the blessing. And the sea got scared and rolled back, and Israel went over to the promised land.

Oh, you think you are prospering when you're building big churches, getting ten thousand added to your denomination. That's not prosperity. That don't take you one step closer to the promise. What we need is more of God, more of the Holy Ghost.

Now, when Jesus returns, even the desert shall blossom like a rose. He is the Son of prosperity, type of Joseph.

They put Joseph in... The general had him in his house; everything he done, he prospered. They put him in jail, and the whole jail prospered. Everything they done, it prospered. And when he exalted the highest, and Pharaoh--next to Pharaoh, everything in Egypt prospered above anything in the world.

When He returns, it'll be a land of prosperity. The old deserts will blossom, and there'll be food everywhere. And we can, everyone, set under our own fig tree and laugh and rejoice and live forever in His Presence, when He comes back as King.

And I, kinda reading this the other day, I kinda thought that was pretty fitting to today. No matter how smart a man is, and how much he can do, and how much prosperity, if he gets away from God, he's an indebtiment to the nation, away from God and His Word. I wonder if it isn't fitting to us today, to someone who loves to set on television and show how smart they are, how much brains they got. But I wonder if they've got enough to take THUS SAITH THE LORD?

And usually, prosperity causes sin. Many people look upon prosperity as blessings. It would be, if we could handle it right. But it usually leads to sin, dishonoring God.

Just because they prospered... That's where we make a mistake. Prosperity is no sign of spiritual blessing. That's right. Not a bit is it. Prosperity, sometimes, is a hindrance.

And when a thing rises just like has rose amongst our government, what's happened? The church didn't know the Voice of the Trumpet, and they didn't know what to do. The great promise of prosperity, an intellectual giant coming in, and they went right over the very thing that the Bible predicted, and brought it in. See, a political voice! And it proved that it overrode the religious Voice, or they'd a-never done what they did, the Gospel Voice. Because we're promised of a lot of stuff, we're promised prosperity, and no doubt but what we'll get it.

He had a great business and he thought he was doing all right. And he had favor with the priests and with the synagogue. He had favor with the churches, and the Kiwanis, and many of the organizations of that day, as we would say. Still that doesn't mean God yet. Prosperity never means God always. Sometimes it's the vice versa.

That's what's the trouble with the people today. Don't you never let that happen to this businessmen's organization or you're gone to the dust like the rest of them. Whenever a people gets to a place till prosperity begins to blind their eyes from the Word of God, they're on the rocks.

Notice. Now, when they come down to buy food, you know, Joseph recognized them right away. And Joseph was the son of prosperity; no matter where he went it always prospered. You wait till the--He comes to the earth again; wait till our Joseph comes. The desert shall blossom as a rose, when the Son of righteousness rise with healing in His wings. Oh, my. All that cactus around Arizona will unfold into beautiful trees in there... It'll be beautiful.

24-5 WHY.CRY.SPEAK JEFF.IN V-2 N-26 63-0714M

Lot could see the glamour of prosperity down in Egypt--or down in Sodom. Lot could see the possibilities of a--of a--of a lot of--of money. Lot could see the possibilities of when he looked over to Sodom and he could maybe become... Being that he was a Hebrew, he might become a great man there because he was a great intellectual figure and the nephew of Abraham. So he chose to go towards Sodom.

Lot's intellects led him to see the glamour of--of prosperity. Lot's intellects led him to see the blessings of glamour. But his faith was so paralyzed by it, he didn't see the fire that was going to destroy that sort of a life. And that's the way people are today. They see the possibilities of belonging to a great organization. They see the possibilities of having social standing with the people of the city, but they don't see the possible... They don't see their faith is paralyzed.

And his master saw that the LORD [was] with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing [that was] under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and [that] which he did, the LORD made [it] to prosper.

Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:

Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall have mercy.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
