E-3 And God is the same. Christ had made the claims that He was He, the I AM. And He said... Therefore, the testimony of two, in the law was right. "Mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established." He said, "If I testify to what..." He made His claims. And God testified in Him. Then that made it so.

E-10 Now, the serpent wasn't a healer. But God put His gift of healing upon that serpent. Do you believe that? He did. And now, if somebody looked, 'course wouldn't believe. But somebody looked and believed. And when they did, the serpent bite was cured. Then others begin to look and believe. They knew then that God was testifying through that serpent, that He was Jehovah-rapha, the Healer. And He's yet Jehovah-rapha, the Healer. He's not the I was; He's the I AM, not something that was, something that is, now, present tense.

Jehovah, in the last part of the 4th here, 3rd, makes His Name known, "I AM THE I AM." Said, "Who am I going to say sent me?" Said, "I AM." Said, "The people won't believe it." Said, "Tell them I AM sent you. I AM." Not "I was; I will be." But, "I AM," that's present tense.

Fire was talking to Moses in the burning bush. He said, "Tell
them all generations that I AM THAT I AM," and Jesus stood at
the feast and said, "I AM the I AM." Sure. The same God,
just twelve inches being from twelve to twenty-four inches being
unfolded.
Now, then the next time He revealed Hisself... First, in the Pillar of Fire, then in the virgin born body, His Son, and now He's working His way down to mankind, and now He's revealing Himself in sinful man that's been regenerated again, living in the entire Church.

The first thing I want... He introduces here, "The I am, the First and the Last." The first thing, when the trumpet of God sounded out, he turned. And He said, "I'm Alpha and Omega. I'm from A to Z. I'm all of it now. Stand and listen to Me awhile." All right.

E-34 After hundreds of years of the supernatural being gone, he showed that God was still living and God had sent him and said, "Go tell them that I AM has sent you." Not "I was," or "I will be," "I AM (a present tense.)" He is not, "I was." How people can claim God, and say that the days of miracles are past, and Divine healing and all the blessings are gone, and still say He is the living God, and the I AM. If He's, I AM, He's just as real as He was at the burning bush. That great Name that He appeared there, and no scholar yet has ever been able to interpret it. J-v-h-u, no one... They call it Jehovah, but it wasn't. No one can interpret it. Why? It's the eternal One. Amen. He dwells in the Light; He dwells in eternity. He calls it, immortality, the everlasting I AM. Hallelujah.

I be His servant tonight and declare Him right. God will make
every sin that you ever committed... The devil that's called your
soul for his own. He will make the devil stand still tonight.
Watch the power of God come down and take away your sin and
iniquity and give you the baptism of the Holy Ghost. He will
surely do it. He will make every cancer drop. He will make every
blinded eye come open. He will make the cripples walk. He will let
the devil who afflicted you stand still and see the glory of God.
It's not your battle. Just stand still; it's God's battle. Don't
be flusterated. Don't be upset; stand still.
We're living in a tremendous time. We're living in a great time. The Church should stand still now to receive the promise. "Stand still and watch the glory of God." He's not the "I WAS." He's the "I AM." He's the same. We'll just stand still, as they did, the "I AM" the same "I AM" lives tonight. While we're thinking on these things let us bow our heads just a moment.

when It was made flesh here on earth, we hear Him talking one day,
and He claimed that He was the Pillar of Fire. They said,
"You say that you're greater than our father Abraham?"
He said, "Before Abraham was, I AM." Who was the I AM? The Pillar of Fire in the burning bush, a perpetual memorial through every generation; not only that generation, but this generation, the same Pillar of Fire. And we're thankful this morning, that we even have the picture of It, that He has not changed. He's the immortal, eternal, blessed One. He does the same things now that He did then, and how happy it makes us feel.

E-68 Now you say, "Brother Branham, was that that what struck Paul down? Was a Light. Nobody else saw it but Paul. And it said, "Saul, Saul, why persecute thou Me?" He said, "Who are you, Lord?" He said, "I'm Jesus." Is that right? He said, "I come from God and go to God." When He was on earth He said, "I was the I AM that was in the bush." So then, you see, "the works that I do, shall you also." Now, if that Angel that's got It's picture on that paper, if It doesn't produce the same life that Jesus did when He was here on earth, then this is the wrong Vine. It's the wrong thing. If It produced great things of something else, then it... That's what it is. But It'll have to produce the same kind of a life. Look. "As My Father sent Me, so send I you." How many knows the Scripture says that? Well, look. The Father that sent Him, went in Him. The Jesus that sends His men, goes in His men. "If I do not the works of My Father, believe Me not." Now, if we do not the works of Christ, then believe the message now. But I've read it out of the Bible, and if He doesn't do the same thing, then all right, He isn't the same. If He does, we'll all be happy. |
