WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE SHOULD WE BE?

Because that those signs appeared just where I'm at, and this Angel of the Lord, and so forth, that doesn't mean that it's just me, friends. What does that mean? What is God trying to get to you? He's trying to get to you to this, that I am telling you the truth. He's a vindicating me by His truth. See what I mean? And I'm telling you of Jesus Christ, and He's coming down confirming that I'm telling the truth. What kind of people should we be? Patriarchs has longed to see this day. Wesley, Moody, Sankey, Finney, Knox, Calvin, all of them longed for this day. And here we set today, scared to move. Oh, my, my, my.
Because the world makes fun of you, because you got something out there, people criticize you. They did the same thing about Israel. Didn't the false prophet Balaam, thought surely that God would curse Israel, because they'd done just about as much as the holiness churches done today. Every unclean thing that could be done, and could be done, they did it. But Balaam failed to see the blood on the altar. He failed to see the atonement made that was standing between Israel. And here's where it is today. People, you are God called and chosen. I'm not ashamed to take myself with you. I'm numbered with you. "In the way that's called heresy, so worship I the God of our fathers."

embodied or empowered, that you don't use your own thoughts, you don't use your own mind, you don't use your own opinion; but the Holy Spirit has you so built, until your thoughts and your being is God's Spirit expressing Itself through you, what kind of a church would we be?
What kind of a people would it be, this morning, if this Branham Tabernacle, this morning, was so filled with the Presence of God, why, when you didn't even use your own mind, didn't even use your own thoughts, didn't even have no alternative of your own, but just to be led by the Spirit...?

  207    God, by sovereign election has called Abraham's seed. Then if that type of Life that was on the inside of that blood Cell was upon Abraham, who called the impossible possible, called the impossibles that they would be, because God said so, what kind of people are the seed of Abraham? Then if you are Abraham's seed, you can't dispute with God. Abraham's seed is a part of this Spirit. For God gave Abraham a sign of circumcision, cutting off the flesh, for a witness He had received him. In this last days, has took the Holy Ghost and circumcised every believer, of cutting off all doubts and unbelief, to believe God's Word is pure and holy, and It's the Truth. Circumcision, cutting away all unbelief, everything, cutting loose every shore line, saying, "God, I believe You, live or die, sink or drown. It's Your Word. I believe It." Then, see what I mean?

And He's just waiting, waiting now with His long-suffering that His coming already past due, waiting to get the Church in order so the second coming can take place. What about that friend?
What kind of people ought we to be? To realize that this day may be the last day that we'll ever be mortal. Tomorrow we may be immortal. This is the only day we may ever have in our life, the last meeting we'll ever set together, and work for the Kingdom of God. How ought this meeting to be conducted tonight then? With the very highest of reverence, that with all of our hearts, we're leaning to the Lord Jesus to give us every soul that's here that isn't converted, to help do something that'll cause the unbeliever and the lukewarm to look on and receive the Lord Jesus Christ.

She represents herself to the public in her dignity, because she's a king's daughter. Amen.
So there's a man when he is the king's son... There's the way back to the Azusa Street experience: Conduct ourselves as sons and daughters of God, not dress like the world, act like the world, and talk like the world, stay home on Wednesday night to see the--all these programs and so forth that Hollywood's putting on. We have nothing to do with Hollywood.
We are borned again Pentecostal experience. Hollywood has its place of entertainment. We have our place of entertainment. Theirs is in the world and ours is in Christ. But we can't pattern after them; let's pattern after Christ, and act like Him and love Him.

And then what kind of people should we be when we see that proved to us. When Jesus promised, when He was here on earth. Now, we'll watch Him as He goes in His ministry, just for a few moments. This is for the newcomers.
As He moved in His ministry, we found out He wasn't born a king, or He was a King when He was born, but not a--a earthly king. He was a heavenly King. And He wasn't received when He was born, by the earth.

Then what will this generation come to in the day of judgment? Then what kind of people should we be? Now, we must be very reverent.

Sometime ago down in the south they used to buy slaves, and they would sell them just like you do on the--the market of cars. And a buyers would come by, and buy those people and sell them from one place to another. And one day a slave buyer came by. And those slaves were very disheartened because they were away from their home. They would have to whip them with whips to make them work. They'd never go back to see their loved ones no more; they were slaves. And they were so discouraged.

  E-31    What kind of people ought we to be? How should we conduct ourselves? We are sons and daughters of a King, not a king, but the King: Jesus Christ the Son of the living God Who is the King of kings.
Let us pray. Our heavenly Father, it is with humble hearts that we embrace Thy Word. And we give to Thee the very adoration of our innermost being, because Thou has redeemed us, and we are not redeemed by corruptible things as money. We are redeemed by the precious Blood of God, Who has purchased us through His only begotten Son the Lord Jesus.
And I believe tonight that He is God's only begotten Son, that He died for the propitiation of our sins. "And He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquity; and the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed." I embrace that tonight and say, "He is the virgin born Son of God."

Now, those who He foreknew, He called; those who He called, He justified; those... When? Before the foundation of the world, before the world ever began. Now, if we could take this Scripture and really justify it, we'd take hours on it, but we--we don't want to do that. But all this unrighteousness here, is righteousness perverted to unrighteousness. That's what the Devil does.
Now, when you come to the age of accountability, and you know what's wrong and right, you're supposed to turn from your wrong. Because you're born in sin, shaped in iniquity, come to the world speaking lies, that you're--you're actually born as a sexual desire, and then you must be borned again in order to receive a new birth to enter into Heaven. Because this kind of a birth you have here...
You see where the Jehovah Witness would be so far wrong there, to think that the new birth is the resurrection of the body. You see? It couldn't be. See? It's got to be something...

We see signs and wonders in the church, great things taking place. What kind of people should we be? Ready at the moment, for we don't know when He's coming.   269    Oh, it's breathtaking, friend. See Him standing there in the supreme--the supremity of His Deity. He's the Judge, the Priest, the King, the Eagle, the Lamb, the Lion, the Alpha, the Omega, the Father, Son, Holy Ghost; He that was, which is, and shall come. Tread out the winepress of the fierceness of God, and pleased everything, until God said at the cross... When He raised up, He said, "It's finished." Pleased God so, till the Spirit that left Him come back on Easter morning and picked Him up and rose Him again for our justification.
There John looked up and saw Him standing there with feet of brass, eyes like flames of fire running to and fro throughout the earth. Daniel saw Him seven hundred years before that in the same position, the same kind, same Man standing there, the Ancient of days, and One like the Son of man that joined in with Him, and all judgment was committed to Him, stand at the white throne judgment.
Seeing these things, what kind of people ought we to be, friends? God bless you is my prayer. See? You love Him? You believe Him? Have you anchored your soul in Him?

What do we have? We have the evidence that God lives. We have the evidence that God is with us. We have the evidence that God has not forsaken us, that we are His and He is ours, because we, in our bodies we now tabernacle the Holy Spirit of God that cries out, "Abba, Father." And there's nothing can ever take that away. We are anchored in Christ.
Now, the trees does not have it; nature does not have it; but yet we are still groaning with them because as yet we haven't received the fulness of our adoption. But we have the Earnest of it, that we were picked up from the things of the world and now become sons and daughters of God. What kind of people should we be? Oh, my, when we think of that... Think of it.
Now, we have the Earnest; our spirit's groaning for the full adoption, but now we have the Earnest of it. As we receive the Holy Spirit, It is the Earnest of our complete adoption or complete salvation. Oh, how beautiful. I just love that. All right.

  154    Then what kind of people ought we to be, having faith in this great redeeming Christ that lives in us, this smitten Rock that never leaves the church? "I am with you always, even to the end of the world," the ever-Presence of the great gusher of salvation and power that poured forth from Calvary into the church, the ever-Presence of the living God, great flowing, smitten Rock that goes with us in our journey.

And then, every promise that's made is in your possession, and the Holy Spirit's there to quicken that to you. Oh, my. What a--what kind of people should we be? How wonderful to see that God's great Holy Spirit here to do that power. Think of it.
When the Holy Ghost Itself, here to bear record of this hour. Jesus said so. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. How dare any man to wipe that out of there. "The works that I do shall you do also. (John 14:12) These signs shall follow them that believe." That is the assurance.
