| RECOGNIZING WHO WE REALLY ARE I.JOHN.3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. DISCERN AND WITHSTAND THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT 15-3 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.1 Now remember this. Christ in the True Church is a continuation of the Book of Acts. But the Book of Revelation shows how that the antichrist spirit would come into the church and defile it, making it lukewarm, formal and powerless. It exposes Satan, revealing his works (attempted destruction of God's people and the discrediting of God's word) right down to the time he is cast into the lake of fire. He fights that. He cannot stand it. He knows that if the people get the TRUE REVELATION of the TRUE CHURCH and what she is, what she stands for and that SHE CAN DO THE GREATER WORKS, she will be an invincible army. If they get a true revelation of the two spirits within the framework of the Christian church, and by God's Spirit discern and withstand the antichrist spirit, Satan will be powerless before her. He will be as definitely thwarted today as when Christ withstood his every effort to gain power over Him in the desert. Yes, Satan hates revelation. But we love it. With true revelation in our lives, the gates of hell cannot prevail against us, but we will prevail over them. GENESIS.1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. GENESIS.1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. ROMANS.8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. ROMANS.8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. THE BRIDE IS LIKENED TO PURE GOLD 80-2 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.3 The true church of Jesus Christ, the bride, is likened to PURE gold. Her righteousness is HIS righteousness. Her attributes are HIS own glorious attributes. Her identity is found in Him. What He is, she is to reflect. What He has, she is to manifest. There is no fault in her. She is all glorious within and without. From beginning to ending she is the work of her Lord, and all His works are perfect. In fact in her is summed up and manifested the eternal wisdom and purpose of God. How can one fathom it? How can one understand it? Though we cannot do that, we can accept it by faith, for God hath spoken it. 81-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.3 But not only is the candlestick of gold, it is of BEATEN gold. Hand-crafted of beaten gold, according to her blue prints which were Spirit-given. Outside of her Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, was ever a people so beaten and purged as the bride of Jesus Christ? Surely she is filling up the sufferings that Christ has left behind. Her goods are despoiled. Her life is in jeopardy. She is accounted as sheep for the slaughter. She is killed all the day long. She suffers much, but in it all retaliates not, neither does she cause others to suffer. Worthy of the Gospel is this lovely bride of Christ. And as gold is malleable, whereas brass will break with the beating, this gold of God will bear her suffering for the Lord, not bowed, not broken, not destroyed, but formed as a thing of beauty and a joy forever by the trials and testings of this life. HATH MADE US PSALMS.100:3 Know ye that the LORD he [is] God: [it is] he [that] hath made us, and not we ourselves; [we are] his people, and the sheep of his pasture. II.CORINTHIANS.3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. GALATIANS.5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. EPHESIANS.1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. COLOSSIANS.1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: REVELATION.1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 23-1 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.1 The ability to discern the heart-thoughts in men made the elect of God to understand that here was the Messiah, the anointed Word of God. Hebrews 4:12, "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." YOU SPEAK THE WORD AND I WILL PERFORM IT 64-1 THE.PATMOS.VISION -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.2 "Don't fear, John. Don't fear, little flock. All that I am, you are heir to. All my power is yours. My omnipotence is yours as I stand in your midst. I have not come to bring fear and failure, but love and courage and ability. All power is given unto Me and it is yours to use. You speak the Word and I will perform it. That is My covenant and it can never fail." 24-1 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.1 For He is our King, King of the Saints. Right now it is a spiritual kingdom. It is not of this world system even as we are not of this world. That's the reason we act different from the world. Our citizenship is in heaven. We reflect the Spirit of the world of our rebirth where Jesus is the King. That is why our women do not dress in men's clothing or cut their hair or use all those cosmetics and other things that the world likes so much. That is why our men don't drink and smoke and carry on in sin. Our dominion is the dominion over sin and it is in force through the power that is in the Spirit of Christ That in-dwells us. Every kingdom on earth is going to be torn down, but ours will remain. WE ARE THE VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD 31-1 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.1 No man knows the things of God save the Spirit of God and he to whom the Spirit of God reveals them. We need to call on God for revelation more than anything else in the world. We have accepted the Bible, we have accepted the great truths of it, but it still is not real to most people because the revelation by the Spirit is not there. The Word has not been quickened. The Bible says in II Corinthians 5:21 that we have become the righteousness of God by our union with Jesus Christ. Did you get it? It says that WE ARE THE VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD HIMSELF by being IN CHRIST. It says that He (Jesus) became SIN for us. It does not say He became sinful, but became SIN for us that by our union with Him we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. If we accept the fact (and we must) that He literally became SIN for us by His substitution for us, then we must also accept the fact that we by our union with Him have become the VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. To reject one is to reject the other. To accept the one is to accept the other. Now we know the Bible says that. It can't be denied. But the revelation of it is missing. It is not real to the majority of God's children. It is just a good verse in the Bible. But we need to have it made ALIVE to us. That will take revelation. 297-2 PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.8 But now we see Him in the church, sharing His own holiness with us, until in Him we have become the very righteousness of God. GOD VINDICATES TRUE REVELATION 33-3 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.1 We now come to a conclusion, such conclusion as we have already found in the Word. As much as we believe in trying to find the oldest and best manuscripts to get the best record of the Word possible, we will never get the true meaning of it by study and comparison of Scriptures, sincere as we may be. IT WILL TAKE A REVELATION FROM GOD TO BRING IT OUT. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT PAUL SAID, "WHICH THINGS WE ALSO SPEAK, NOT IN WORDS WHICH MAN'S WISDOM TEACHETH, BUT WHICH THE HOLY GHOST TEACHETH." I Cor. 2:15. The true revelation is God interpreting His own Word by vindicating what is promised. 34-2 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.1 May God begin by His Spirit to give us continuous life-giving and prevailing revelation. Oh, if the church could only get a fresh revelation and become by it the living Word manifested, we would do the greater works and glorify God our Father in heaven. DOMINION OVER SIN
35-3 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.1 And in Colossians 1:13, "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom (reign) of His dear Son." Right now we reign with Christ, having dominion over sin, the world, the flesh, and the devil. Showing forth His praise and glory; showing forth HIMSELF, for it is Christ in us, willing and doing of His good pleasure. Yes, indeed, even now we are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION 34-5 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.1 Consider this. Since it is the blood of God, it is perfect blood; and if the perfect blood is loosing us from the power and bondage and defilement of sin, then the loosing is perfect and complete. There is now therefore no condemnation. "Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth (declares us righteous). Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died..." Romans 8:33-34. There it is, His death gave us the blood. The blood has loosed us. There is now no condemnation. How can there be? There is nothing to be condemned for, because the blood has loosed us from sin. We are free, guiltless. Don't listen to man, listen to the Word. You are loosed by the blood. I HAVE CHOSEN YOU JOHN.15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. JOHN.15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 41-3 REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.1 As Adam and Eve were in the garden and did not finish out the thousand years, now Jesus our last Adam, and His Eve (True Church) will fulfill all the plan of God. SHALL NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART MATTHEW.21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. MARK.11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. CURSE THEM THAT CURSE THEE GENESIS.12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. GET IN THE SPIRIT, AND THEN THINGS WILL BE DONE 44-2 THE.PATMOS.VISION -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.2 Let me just use another illustration. Suppose you need healing. What does the Word say? Well, we have all read it countless times, but did not get in the Spirit when reading it. Did we ask God for His Spirit to teach us the real truth of it? If we did, we would call the elders, confess our sins, be anointed and prayed for, and that would be that. It might not come immediately, but in His Spirit, it is all over. There is no other court of appeal. God will fulfill His Word. Oh, we need to get in the Spirit, and then things will be done. DON'T GO THROUGH THE ACTS FIRST. GET IN THE SPIRIT AND THEN GO THROUGH THE ACTS AND WATCH WHAT GOD WILL DO. THE SAME KIND OF BRANCH 21-5 GOD.CALLED.MAN JEFF.IN V-2 N-27 58-1005E Now, He said, a little while the world won't see Him no more. Well then, how would we see Him? We'd have to see His Spirit, if He's in us, and that Spirit would have to do the same that He did then, or it wouldn't be the same Spirit. "I am the Vine; ye are the branches." And if we bear... If the branch is in the vine, the branch will bear the kind of fruit that the vine produces to it. Where the first Vine come forth, the first branch that come out of the Vine was a Pentecostal branch: visions, powers, healings, baptism of the Holy Spirit, great signs and wonders; the next branch will have to be the same kind of branch. On down to the end, it'll have to be the same; that's what Jesus said. E-73 HEAR.YE.HIM SAN.JOSE.CA 59-0424E And if the first Vine that comes out of Jesus Christ produced a Pentecostal Church filled with the Holy Ghost and power, the second branch will do the same thing, the third branch will be another. It'll... Every branch It puts forth will be the same kind of branch. We've left Him somewhere. Same way they did, at the Feast of Pentecost, the Feast of Pentecost. Jesus is the same God, the same Christ, the same Son of God. He's still the same as He was then, He is now; only His Spirit is in here to carry on His work as He promised He would do. 35-2 CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION JEFF V-2 N-13 60-1113 Father, so is it now at the near coming of Jesus again. Just like the vine; if the vine puts forth a branch, and that branch was a Pentecostal branch filled with the Holy Ghost and signs and wonders of fruits followed that branch; if that vine ever puts another branch it'll be the same kind of branch. We know that, Father, by nature itself. But we do know that You can graft any fruit that's pertaining to that into that vine, and it'll live by the vine. ...But if that tree brings forth its own branch again, it'll be an orange, Lord. It'll be like the first one was. And we believe that there is to be a church in these last days, that will receive both former and latter rain. It'll be scattered throughout the world in this Laodicean Age. It'll be a church that's called back to the original faith in God. It'll be a church that'll have Jesus Christ walking in it, manifesting Himself; the shout of the King will be in it. It'll show the same signs, because that's kind of the Church they had at the beginning. Let's stop hybreeding ourselves. Let's go back to the Word like it was at the beginning. You like that? And the first branch that brought forth, they wrote a book of Acts after it. Is that right? The Pentecostal church, the real Pentecostal church... And it wrote a book of Acts, with signs and wonders following the believer. If that real true Vine brings forth another true branch, they'll write a book of Acts behind it. Yes, sir. THE FEAR OF YOU AND THE DREAD OF YOU GENESIS.9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth [upon] the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. DEUTERONOMY.11:25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: [for] the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you. SATAN CANNOT TOUCH THEM 52-3 THE.PATMOS.VISION -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.2 Not only can we speak thus of the messengers, but every true believer is dramatically depicted here. They are all drawing from the same source. They have all been dipped into the same bowl. They are dead to themselves and their lives are hid with Christ in God. They are sealed in by the Holy Ghost. Ephesians 4:30, "And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." No man can pluck them out of His hand. Their lives cannot be tampered with. The visible life is burning and shining, giving light and manifestations of the Holy Ghost. The inner, invisible life is hidden in God and fed by the Lord's Word. Satan cannot touch them. Not even death can touch them, for death has lost its sting; the grave has lost its victory. Thanks be unto God, they have this victory in and through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen. WHO STOOD WITH THE WORD 57-1 THE.PATMOS.VISION -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.2 What is it? It is the judgment. For these are the voices of the multitudes of witnesses, who by the Holy Spirit all through the ages have testified to Christ and preached His Gospel. It will be the voice of every man rising in judgment against the sinner who would not take warning. The voices of the seven messengers will be heard loud and clear. Those faithful preachers who preached the saving power of Jesus, who preached water baptism in Jesus' Name, who preached the in-filling and power of the Holy Ghost, who stood with the Word more than they stood with their own lives; all of them were the voice of Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost down through the ages. John 17:20, "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word." JOHN.17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; GENESIS.18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. I AM WITH THEE GENESIS.26:24 And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I [am] the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I [am] with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake. As long as we got God, we're more than conquerors. We are more than conquerors. We set in the Presence of God, in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, taking spiritual communion from the hands of Him that testified, "I was He that was dead, and alive again, and I'm alive forevermore." Setting together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, O blessed be His holy Name. What difference does it make? We've conquered sin; we've conquered death; we've conquered hell; we conquered the grave; we conquered sickness, because Jesus is our mighty Conqueror. Our forefathers before us trusted in Thee, and were not confounded. Then we see that those who trusted in Thee, always, without one time failing, come out right. This morning represents the time that when our religion was made real, because it was the rising up again of Thy precious Child Who came to redeem the whole human race. And we're here this morning in celebration of that great supreme triumph, Lord, that made us more than conquerors of both death, hell, and the grave. And we thank Thee, that after all these years have passed, we still gather early of a morning on this Easter morning to worship Him, because we believe that He shall come again. 51 POSSESSING.THE.ENEMY'S.GATES JEFF.IN V-11 N-6 59-1108 But, brother, then the Devil sent His precious soul into the bottomless pits of hell. There the gates opened, but He come out on the third day, conquered it. Amen. "His seed shall possess the gate of the enemy." Conquered death, He conquered hell, on that first Easter morning He conquered the grave. And now we stand more than conquerors, through Him Who loved us. No reason for us to have to come--overcome anything because it's already conquered. The last enemy, sickness, death, temptation, all things are put under His feet. And we are the seed of Abraham. Being dead in Christ we are Abraham's seed, marching on to victory, to victory, to victory, holding God's promise out before us and going on. Possess the gates. We have God's promise. We have His Word. We have His Holy Spirit. The Angels are encamped about; everything's in order. Every wall can be took down. It's already took down. The Son of God goes before us, His banners a waving, and there's nothing can stand in the way of a saint going to meet a promise of God. Death can't stop it; the grave can't stop it. The devil can't stop it. We are more than conquerors. Sickness is conquered for you, friends. Death is conquered for you. Unbeliever, won't you receive Him? Habits has been conquered for you. Temptation's been conquered. You say, "I got a temper; I can't get over it." It's conquered. He's already conquered it, the great final Seed of Abraham. There's no more conquering to do now; He conquered for us. E-49 SEED.SHALL.POSSESS.THE.GATE LONG.BEACH.CA 61-0212E Then when He died down at the cross, hell taken his precious soul. The Bible said his soul descended into hell. That's exactly right. Hell captured his soul and took Him down there. But brother, on that third day He possessed the gates of death, hell, and the grave and rose up the third day, and overcome it all. He took sickness, death, hell, the grave, and everything. I believe He jerked the gate plumb off the hinges of them, and took them out, rose on high, ascended on high. And tonight, you are more than conquerors. His seed shall possess the gates of the enemy. Yes, sir. He possessed every gate. He conquered every sickness. He conquered every sin, He conquered every temptation. He conquered death, He conquered hell, He conquered the grave. He possessed the gate of all of them. And we in Him are more than conquerors, hallelujah, 'cause He conquered for us. Oh, we would ever know what that true seed of Abraham was, what it really meant to us. He was sending twelve man out with a Gospel that would conquer the world, and He's depending on you and I to do it. If He could sanctify Himself like that, why ought we to set aside every failure, and every doubt, and everything else, and sanctify ourselves? For we are the seed of Abraham through Him, that are more than conquerors through Him. Yes. God said that He'd have a church that would be without spot or without a wrinkle in it, and we know that we will see that church someday. They're--they're--they're gods, fallen gods. They get a domain, the world. They're supposed to take care of it. Oh, for the great millennium when they'll be manifested. We're getting ready now for this time to come. The church has got to get ready. He had power over the birds of the air, the cattle, over the winds, the waves, the--the fishes of the sea, everything. He had dominion over everything. He was a ruler, anointed a ruler, because he was in the likeness and in the image of God with an earthly domain. That's why the Bible says the earth is groaning, crying, waiting, for the manifestation of the Sons of God. And if the Spirit of Christ is in you, It makes you live the life of Christ, act the life of Christ, do the works of Christ. "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Jesus said that. See? Now, we're going to have... We got a ministry coming that's just exactly like the life of Christ. What does that ministry identify? Showing that that would be the dwelling place of God in the human heart, not the human head, but the human heart. Amen. Watch the order of the Scripture, "I will take away the stony heart and give you a new heart." Now, the heart is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. "And I will give you a new spirit." I want you to watch the order. Now, many people get mixed up there. They think they got the Holy Ghost, but they just get a new spirit. Watch. "I'll give you a new heart, and a new spirit. And then I will put My spirit..." Now, the new Spirit... God had to give you a new spirit, but that's a new spirit God give you so you could get along with the Holy Ghost. With that old spirit you had, you couldn't get along with your neighbor; you couldn't get along with yourself; so you know you couldn't get along with God; so God gives you a new spirit. It was not found in the animal life; it was only found in the human body, the human heart. And they said, "It must been the dwelling place of the soul." So then man does think with his heart. Patience with the people that was rebelling against him. I wonder if we could do that? If you can't, don't try to build on this, because it--it don't change, you know. That's the way the first one is vulcanized into this, and that's the way everyone of them has to be vulcanized. If you don't, you don't come to that statue of the dwelling place of the living God. She said, "I certainly do." And I said, "You know, I love you so much till I would like to take you and pull you inside of me, so we could just be really be one." Boy, now that... Multiply that by a hundred million, and then you'll find out how that the believer who falls in love with Christ wants to get into Him, because it's a love. And here He's going to show us how that through these promises we might be partakers of Christ's Divine nature. These mortal bodies, how that we can be partakers... 18-2 STATURE.OF.A.PERFECT.MAN JEFF.IN V-2 N-18 62-1014M What is sin? Unbelief. There's only two elements that controls the human being. That's either doubt or faith, one or the other. You're possessed of one that dominates your life. Just depends on how much faith you have, how high you can rise. 75-1 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.3 Notice that Paul was unorganized, but Spirit-led, as when God moved upon Moses to lead Israel out of Egypt. Jerusalem's council never sent Paul out, nor did it have any power or jurisdiction over him. God, and God alone, did the sending and the leading. Paul was not of men, but of God. Galatians 1:1, "Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, Who raised Him from the dead:)" 85-2 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE -- CHURCH.AGE.BOOK.CPT.3 Did you get it now? There are those twins again. There are those two trees again, growing side by side in the same earth, partaking of the same nourishment, drinking in the same rain, and benefiting by the same sun. But they come from DIFFERENT seeds. One tree is FOR the Word of God, exactly as God gave it, and loves and obeys it. The other tree is from the seed that is anti the Word of God and changes it where it wants to. It substitutes its own creeds and dogmas for the living true Word exactly as did Cain, who ended up killing Abel. But fear not little flock. Stay with the Word. Keep that Word between you and the devil. Eve did not do that and she failed. And when the church lets down on the Word she goes into the depths of the darkness of Satan. |
